I’m seeing ads on Dengarden in Canada. Perhaps they’re not showing everywhere.
My top performing article on Dengarden has ads displayed throughout. Google is my search engine. I'm reading it in America on a desktop.
I've got adds. California, USA. But, adds & pics load slowly on my Fire tablet.
Now they're back. Maybe just a temporary glitch. Or an experiment. What's with the new mid grey text background used for the menu and the slightly different layout on that site? Maybe it's a guinea pig site for new ad layouts?
I don't see what you see, Eugene. There's no gray in the menu. Menu is in black. Categories are in all full color. I'm clicking on the hamburger menu. Are you doing the same?
No, I mean the menu at the top of the screen on desktop. Black text on a mid grey background.
I don't see that, Eugene. I see what the site means for us to see.
Unfortunately, I forget how to take a screen shot and paste to a comment. I tried. But I don't see a gray background.
This is what I see. The menu has a grey background. There's also a list of stories to the right of the title image.
It's not gray, it's green, which is in keeping with the theme.
I don't understand what your complaint is, Eugene.
The background looks grey on my devices. On one of them, the grey has a very faint green tinge, but I would still call it grey.
Is it green? I suppose very slightly. Hold on till I analyse it.
Which is my assessment of the color. Good job, HP!
If it's intentional, why make it a green that's not obvious? Or was that just by accident? Or is there subtle psychology at play?
Meanwhile the menu is a different colour on Wanderwisdom and other sites, with no list of articles. I'm just wondering are they experimenting with a new layout on Dengarden.

Are ads only placed in the vertical position at the far right, outside of the hub text now? I just noticed on several of my hubs and others. I thought it was just me and began to tweak text and rearrange capsules to see if they would come back, but they didn't. Did I miss or overlook this change?...

Just saw a Drano ad for the first time. Pretty in your face and obnoxious. May have been less noxious if it wasnt on a hub about kids toys So are these full pagers only appearing on HP's impressions? Have you seen them? What do you think ?, Im feeling like I would be instantly turned away and...

Some of my hubs have the wrong template apparently; there are no ads displayed. To change it, do I have to save my hub, unpublish it, then start a new one and paste the saved work into it? I haven't found a way to change it otherwise.

I can count no less than 21 repeats of this same advert breaking up the text in this article.Really? Can any of you SEO experts please explain to me what the advantages are of repeating the same advert over and over again, breaking up every paragraph of text?

As someone who doesnt mind getting a taste of ad revenue one day -whats up with the huge right column of unused ad space that would give returns on impressions! In truth, readers are already trained not to pay attention to such a space, so it wont take away from people reading my work - but the ads...
