Trying to publish an article but the SMS function is not working

    Hi, I am in a country where the call me now option is not available. Unfortunately, however, every time I try to send myself the SMS I am getting an error message -
    Something went wrong. Please try again. And when you get a chance, you may want to report this issue in the Hubpages forums.

    I think this is not a question of SMS(ing). It's rather that of posting comments in the forum.                                       Sometimes it does not work, and it only takes a few seccnds for the post to move on a second try.                                   However, posting a thread like this has not been common here though HubPages suggest the move.                                               So if it happen with my   Opera browser I change or check with Google or firefox. And it works.                         Welcome Carla, to Hubpages.

      That's not what Carla was asking about. When you publish your first article HubPages requires a text confirmation via your phone. It often doesn't work.

        Bev, thanks for the response. I have had not experienced it when  I landed on Hubpages and wrote my first article years ago.                                   Perhaps, it seems to be a new feature these days? I'm  Wondering. Thanks.

          It's been around a few years. It's a common question. The thing is, it's easy for newbies to become confused if you give them completely unrelated information.
