Impressions have been altered from what they were previously (a 50% jump) and earnings increased proportionately over the last week. The figures seem to have been retroaltered. Impressions are now close to views, rather than 60% of them.
    Hopefully this isn't an error?

I hope it's a new dawn. My fingers are crossed that it lasts. I'm seeing earnings for yesterday I haven't seen in years.

I think there's just an error in the stats resulting in  Hubpages' share of impressions and earnings not being deducted. But fingers crossed too. CPM seems to have fallen somewhat. Maybe the new video/ad is bringing in lots of impressions and it took some time for the earnings to be accrued and added to the stats for the last week.

We made some adjustments and recalculations with the new video player. That explains why your earnings from the past week have increased.

      So, what does "retroaltered" mean?

I made that up smile There's probably a word for it that didn't come to mind. "Changed"?

lol lol I was wondering, too. I thought it was a real word! I even came up with a definition in my head to justify Eugene's use: "a change that puts things back to the way they were."

big_smile A quick Google for reverse definition:

As I recall, we've posted comments like these in the past! big_smile

change back: if something that has changed changes back, it returns to how it was originally

change back to: Do you think things will ever change back to the way they were?

I get how you can tell how many views you get, but how do you know how many impressions you get?

Click on Ad Program Reports on the "Earnings" tab on the "My Accounts" page.
