I have been posting links to my hubs on Quora for a few weeks now. Although my post has "views" on quora, I can't see Quora listed under "Traffic sources" in my Hubpages stats. Any idea, why this would happen? Thanks for time.
I may be wrong since I haven’t expired the site in detail, but I don’t think that Quora is considered to be a good place for self-promotion. That may be why HubPages isn’t recognizing it. I think the idea behind the site is to help people rather than to promote our articles.
I agree with you, Linda. I spend quite a bit of time on Quora. Every now and then I see someone from HP posting links to their articles where most members would post a question or idea to be answered/responded to by those who follow whatever topic it is. That's just tacky. Quora is not that type of forum. At all.
I don't have Facebook stats in my traffic sources and never did. But some people have reported they do have Facebook stats. Oddly I checked my GA stats today and some views by myself of my articles are coming from Quora. I've noticed this phenomena before where if you visit a site before visiting another site, the original site is recorded as the source.
Will try that today. Thank you. Btw, fb shows up on my stats.

Hi, I have noticed that for a few days now, while the traffic stats are updating, our traffic sources are not. Has anyone else noticed this too?

Ever since the switch to subdomains, I have seen specific subdomain names listed on the traffic stats for individual Hubs; and on the Traffic Sources Page, the numbers for HubPages have seemed to decline (understandably). Recently, I have seen higher numbers for HubPages.com, and I don't...

When you click on "View Stats" for a hub, you'll see the message "Top Traffic Sources - (not all views have a discernable source)"Why exactly is this? Don't most analytics programs show the source? Also, why doesn't it ever show direct traffic (like people just...
