We are a group of students. We've decided to publish our articles here, but we can't give credit to the photos we use here. Why we can't credit photos? For example, we are trying to type it and write that we took it from that place, but for some reason we can't even write it

I don’t quite understand what you mean. When you insert a photo capsule into an article, there’s a place to name the photographer, state the website where you found the photo, and state the license of the photograph. Photos should have a suitable license to be used on this site.

If you go to the Help section of HubPages, you’ll find a link to the Learning Center. That contains an article about choosing photographs with the correct license and attributing them properly.

Adding to what Linda has mentioned, if you are taking photos from your device, you can always mention that in the attribution accordingly. I don't see any issue in doing that.

Yes we know there's a place to name the photographer, the problem is I just can't name the photographer like it's not working when I want to type. Is it technical failure?

After inserting the photo capsule, the photo can be loaded, and then you type. Did you took such a course?

Are you doing your editing from a desktop or mobile device? I've never edited using a tablet or phone, but I presume you have to tap in the panels for name of source, source URL and caption before you start typing.

    Hi there,
I think your question is about typing the credits of the photo in a photo capsule, right?
The photo capsule doesn't work properly on some mobile devices. You can't attribute the photo on mobile. Try using an iPad or a laptop to credit the photo.
    I hope this helps.

The photo capsule including text can work on any modern DROID 4 plus perfectly, in edit mode.                                              It's only ordinary mobile phones that did not carry the feature.

Some phones do work for loading and attributing photos. Mine does, though the process is not as easy as when using a larger device.

If you’re using a phone to load photos, try it or your friends’ phones to see if they work. If the devices don’t work, you may have to use a friend’s computer or a library one to load the photographs.

Does the desktop version of the editor appear on mobile devices? If there's a mobile version of the editor that displays by default, an option could be to request the desktop version of the site in the menu of the browser. That may allow editing.

My last phone did allow for the process that you’ve described. It was very useful, although the desktop screen was too small for my eyes. My new phone doesn’t allow for the process, but as I say above, I can still use it for inserting photos and their information. I use my first phone as a mobile computer now instead of a phone.

I think it's the browser that supports this option, rather than the phone.

Edit: Just checked the Firefox app and there's a switch in the menu for turning this on. It should be possible to do the two finger gesture thing then to zoom the page.

I have three browsers on my current phone. None of them have ever given me a desktop view before today. After reading your comment, I decided to try again. For the first time ever, one of the browsers gave me a desktop view once I chose it from the menu! Now it won’t. I’m going to investigate this process again. Thanks for your reply.
