Up to 100% every so often on my four core machine and the fans work hard to cool everything down to 80 degrees. If I watch a YouTube video, the load is only about 30%. I reckon Google ranks on this sort of thing. It seems to be worse using the Firefox browser than Edge due to how it must process and render pages.
The same phenomenon occurs with my hardware. Almost as if I would play a game.
My articles don't even load past the first in-text ad anymore. It doesn't matter if I'm on mobile or desktop.
I've installed the Core Temp system utility and set a threshold of 87 degrees C so my laptop will shut down if the sites cause the processors to overheat. The system will do this automatically when they reach 100 degrees, but I'd prefer an earlier shutdown before an emergency shutdown is called. Currently the sites cause temperature to rise to 85 regularly.

I wanted to read an article from Pethelpful which was displayed in SERPs but I couldn’t read the page as the site failed to load fully. The same goes to the main websites like Holidappy and toughnickel. Please see from the images below:I tried rival site and it loaded quickly without any hitch.

I've noticed a significant change in the speed at which HP pages are loading. It's changed noticeably since last Saturday, the 15th. I'm using Chrome (the most recent version). I'm not having this problem with any other site or page I visit. I'm also using Win7.

Unfortunately, I think that there may not be a place for it on a HubPages network site...

I know I could just write down when I've submitted an article to a network site, but I don't always do it and it would be handy to have a place where I could see when I submitted so that I know how much time I have before I can submit another one. Even just an automatic email that says I've...
