If this and other articles are anything to go by, I estimate there's 3 to 4 months left until views reach zero. So much for them being evergreen. Edits and upgrades haven't worked either, for me anyway.

I emailed the HP team asking if anything is being done to halt this worrying decline. Matt Wells replied stating that they are 'continually working on ways to improve HP.'

I'm lost for words. Our work is being devalued. Years of writing good quality articles going down the pan.

Your graphic illustrates perfectly the current road to nowhere.

Maybe the sites got a Google Penalty?

I keep nagging Danny Sullivan too, asking him why they're dumping quality content. He might answer and give a hint if I piss him off enough.

Within a few days, my daily earnings have plummeted by half, and the decline shows no sign of stopping. It's quite alarming...

That's probably partially due to the drop in CPM because we're into Q3.

I was thinking that there seems to be no bottom to this decline. But maybe you're right and the rot won't stop until we reach zero views and earnings!

There's hardly any views today, less than a quarter of yesterdays. I see google has deranked one of my top earning articles because of a similar one written last year on Owlcation. So mine is no longer ranked for certain keywords.

The views and earnings are the tip of the iceberg for me.

Some of the site's general functionality, such as the comments, now seem permanently broken. Even though I was never a big fan of comments and there are no doubt technical challenges, it's a bad look.

The loss of the 60/40 sharing was also problematic for me.

What's hardest to quantify but important for me, is that so much of the fun and enthusiasm seems to have been sucked out of the site.

The switch from independency to being part of Haven/TAG seemed to work well at first but not now.

I still earn here and I'm planning to stick around but HP is not the enjoyable place that it once was.

I agree. We need more transparency, more team work and real solutions after listening to writer's feedback.

Are you getting any traffic today? Mine has stopped now on nearly all network sites.

              It's remarkably dropped. Weird.
