Can I have advice on how to make this review better? This is the first time I've ever written a review, so I'd love some feedback.

I enjoyed what you wrote, but it seems to be rather short. What's your word count? I see you have a link to Amazon. I'll let others chime in, but I think this is frowned upon by HubPages. Any chance you can add more pictures?

Hi yes that big Amazon capsule is getting in the way. I think if you cut that out completely and add another paragraph about your experience with the product (if possible!), you will likely get featured.

I understand that providing a product link to the product in hopes of getting some Amazon revenue is a main point of writing the article. However, paradoxically, having such a link in an article is a major obstacle to getting featured. It has worked for me in the past to get the article featured without any links, then go back and provide legitimate Amazon links to the product. It will generally pass muster and not be unfeatured for that. Go figure.

Another point – use an in-text link, not that big Amazon capsule. I have plenty of sales from in-text links, and almost none from the capules.

Good luck and keep writing! I think you have a good future here.

Thank you both for the feedback! I'll keep those tips in mind in the future. I was just shy of the word count goal for this review but couldn't think of ways to stretch it smile. The review had been unpublished a couple of times but removing the Amazon capsule at the end was ultimately what allowed it to be published. Thanks again!

Happy to help! Once you have written a piece that works, it's generally a good idea to follow that template for more articles, at least at first. Good luck!
