There was a big ballyhoo about the Rojo comment feature a while back when it was launched.

I just checked 20 recent articles on network sites that have enabled this feature. Not a single comment.

I wondered where the comments feature had gone! Haven't seen this in a very long time. I've only recently returned to writing on HubPages after taking a break so have missed a lot of the changes made.

I miss how I can't leave positive feedback on Hubs I read and Hubbers that I follow, I love supporting our little community. But I certainly don't miss the trolls and spam!

I've not even checked it out. Perhaps I should.

I'm maybe a traditionalist on this topic but I still feel that they should've found a way to fix the comments. I'm guessing there was a technical reason why they couldn't, maybe the comments were generating too much spam on old accounts or something.

It's never been explained why there's some comment functionality on a handful of niches but not most. Maybe they monitor those few but haven't the resources to do it with all.

    One can only speculate.

Anyway, back to Rojo... sorry, I keep forgetting about it...

I can hardly recalled 'Rojo'. It may be that I paid less attention, to it when it was launched, if it was related to comment. Because back of my mind is the old hubpages comment come back scenario.

I have never even checked it out. I admit I had actually forgotten about it, but it sounds like it’s introduction was a waste of time.

It has been a while since I've gone to my followers list and picked a few hubs to read and comment on. I was surprised to see only 1 out of 5 had comments turned on.

That one had a box/button thing that said "comment." When I clicked it, I figured it opened a comment box, but instead, it opened a new website I wasn't familiar with, so I closed it and gave up.

Seeing your post here, I assume this is their newest way of leaving them? If closing the new window was my reaction, I can only assume it would be a reaction to many others.

I remember the Rojo announcement, but it wasn't enabled on any of the niche sites my articles appeared on, so I was like "Whatever (shrugs)." Sounds like I haven't been missing anything.

I'd forgotten about it. Just looked at the announcement posted 6 months ago. It looks complicated, only on 4 niche sites and depends on users (readers) flocking to HP articles and showing interest in having conversations with each other. hmm I wonder how it went? Sounds like a "wonk, wonk" to me.

No new comments on any of my articles. As far as I can tell, the news articles are not fairing much better. The ones that do have the occasional comment, are mostly negative.

I stopped looking at it when they switched the layout to infinite scroll, which happened shortly after the launch.

You can't find anything on the site and it has no organization. It relys on readers clicking through from the article and wanting to sign up to comment. Not user friendly at all, in my opinion. Not surprised it was a bust.
