I am feeling like I want to sit and stare into space...I flick from page to page and just keep flicking.. how come??
I am in the same boat, flicking from page to page
procrastination...it's an awesome condition!
yes...thoughts are like wine....sometimes we should just let them brew to get fine quality!
of course you agree! I'm always right, geesh.
I think I've turned my wine into a bitter taste. hehe
how goes it, cutie?
I'm like that ALL the time! You mean this is something new for you?
Salt that is what I feel like whenever I am free. These few days are an exception though as I have a lot of work to do online.
Try starting a new blog on a topic of interest.
I do the same thing but I do have 10 unpublished hubs I can complete. I will do that tomorrow, lolol
I just checked out your Haiti update. I have been trying to find one as I was concerned. Thank you for that.
thanks all, all very true points... !!!!! and I did have an extra half glass of red last night, maybe that fixed the problem!?
I can usually on cope with one glass...
And I did, started a small hub to get going again and it worked. There are one or two that I have been working on for awhile that I was stuck on and Ive done a bit of work on those today.
So Im back in the flow a bit and heading back to where I intended to be with my writing.. which is good, I was getting a bit lost.
I think that was half of the confusion. Plus, you read some really good writing and you think.. wow I could have written that, but they did and then you see really good writing that you couldnt have written and you think I can never do as good as .....
Then you get sad, dispondent, wonder why you ever bothered, who were you kidding, whats the purpose.. its not like real writing anyway...
Then, you wake up and start something easy.. look through your other work, edit a few spelling errors and your back in the flow ...
maybe Ill make a hub on this!
and yes, the brewing is important. I find after you go through a lul - a few ups and downs in mood and activity, you find that magical space again where the words are like a dew drop on the tip of a leaf in the morning sunlight, with the sound of a distant bird singing ....
I do the same thing, I find it hard sometimes to get the motivation to write until it happens, so I just keep flicking, and flicking.
lol Im getting there ... and then when you do get motivated, you have to go somewhere or do something... but I can get there...I will get at least one hub published per day for the next 30. I will get my unfinished hubs finished and I will perfect the ones Ive already published.
Well, Salt.. I've seen your hubs come up and the titles are enticing ( must read).. I just get wrapped up in my sphere..
The tracing in 'addiction'.. Save yourself! LOL
Make yourself 'get away' before it takes you completely over... I had a mishap, which took 2 weeks to sort out and it was the bestest thing ever (for my being)
Anyway, looking forward to reading those hubs...in time
All the best.
I MUST i MUST DO SOME WORK TOMORROW,... iVE HAD WEIRD COMPUTER ENERGY ALL WEEK... AND NOW MOTIVATION AT A LOW.. MAYBE TOMORROW IT WILL KICK OVER,i REALISED TONIGHT, THAT IF I PULL MYSELF THROUGH THIS AND JUST MAKE MYSELF WORK AT ONE OR TWO, I WILL GET SOMETHING DONE.
I write everyday no matter what. The first thing I do each morning is write. No exceptions. Then I have the rest of the day to do what I want. This is my commitment to me. It may work for you.
Time to get focused Salt, inpsiration is what you need, perhaps, sit back for a while, read a magazine or book, watch a TV programme, something will come to you and inspire you to write
Lets see what the stars hold for you Salt...http://hubpages.com/hub/Astrology-Irish-Looking-Into-Your-Stars

How do you get motivated to write?I know this sounds silly but I LOVE writing~ especially on here~ and have a whole list of articles to write, but I still find it difficult to actually set myself down and get into it. I have had long-term bad-health which doesn't help (especially as it affects my...

I had grand plans for this rainy weekend. Write, write, write. Did I? Well, sort of. I now am up to something like 15 unpublished hubs, 13 of which are at least started. A few of those are almost done.I'd start working, and then hit the forums. I'd start writing again, and then take the dogs for a...

How Great will you be tomorrow, if you don't procrastinate today?Think about that deeply? What will you be?

I seem to have spurts of motivation, but not quite enough to get me to the level I want to get to. Some hubbers say that they make a fair bit from hubbing and they probably do, Im just being impatient and need to put a bit more work in.I havent had many visitors this week and I am unsure about...

Do you think a plain lazy and procrastinating person needs therapy to fix his/her life.
