Excited!

I've fallen off the wagon a bit with my articles - had a bit of a busy time with work, then a couple of health problems including covid! This has knocked me off my writing schedule, but oh well, life happens. Trying to catch up now and get some more part-written articles finished.

I've spent the morning working on a book review for a dark fantasy/horror anthology and have reached out to one of the editors that had put this anthology together. She's given the piece her blessing and has agreed to send me a paragraph on the book itself and what inspired her with this project. A HubPages exclusive!

As soon as it comes in, I'll add it to the article and publish. Pretty excited by this, it'll add something that other generic reviews don't have.

She thinks she'll have it with me in a couple of weeks, so I will keep you posted smile

Lovely to hear from you, Pollyanna.

How was your covid? I had it two times. The first one was pure hell. During the second one, I could manage quite alright, even though I was entirely energy-depleted, to say at least.

Nice! It sounds like you have some interesting times ahead. I hope it goes well with your articles.

      Best of luck! smile

Thank you Jan! I've had it a few times now too, this time it was just like a really nasty cold with cough and fever. We ordered a spicy curry to try to shake the germs out and it was so strange not being able to taste or smell it! But thankfully I didn't need any sick days as my employer let me work from home during my illness. Definitely feeling better now, and I can taste my food again - chocolate is horrible with no taste, it's like eating a block of cold fat haha!

You're right, it does really make you tired, and the brain fog is very annoying.

I think it's just here to stay now like influenza.
