My data/stats haven't updated for 40 hours now! Wondering if it is a problem on my end or a problem for everyone...and, if so, what's going on?

      It’s the same here.

Thanks Chitrangada. Hopefully that will change soon or we will hear from the staff on this.

This issue has happened before, and it always gets fixed somehow. If Matt sees this thread, perhaps he will "chime in" and update all of us.

Yes, hopefully it "gets fixed" today.

This has always been like that—absolutely nothing to worry about.

I don't remember (2) days delay over my 12 years here, but could be common and I've never noticed it before.

My memory is different. I believe that extended delays are much more common with earnings but there have also been stats delays too over the years.

Same, "Includes data from 2 days ago and earlier". Guess I'll check back tomorrow. As Gregory said, it's happened in the past, I just never noticed it on the stats page, only the earnings page being delayed by days.

I just published my longest article yesterday at 5,700 words and I'm curious how it's doing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I haven't written anything new, but recently updated a few articles, wondering how they are doing.
What is your article title, I will check it out. smile

Earnings are not stuck, although they are at historically low levels. Interesting how earnings can be calculated without the benefits of traffic numbers. One hopes for upward adjustments of earnings when stats come out of the glue.

      Precisely.
How were earnings calculated without knowing the traffic/views?

HubPages knows the traffic stats internally. The issue was displaying the traffic stats to the authors. Earnings are not affected.

I am currently doing all of the above with my Android phone...it is on its last, leg!?!
My kids want me to go the iPhone route, but I hear things!! Not sure what to do. Another subject for another day I guess.

          1. eugbug profile image97
eugbugposted 5 months agoin reply to this

Iphones come with a price premium. I'm not sure whether there's anything more wonderful about them compared to an Android one. IPhones have "Retina display" which is a branded technology, offering high resolution and close pixels, but maybe Android phones have something similar? My 6 year ols Android phone has a perfectly good, sharp screen. I also like the fact that I can use an SD card in my phone which is something that can't be done with an iPhone without an adaptor. However storage capacity is so large on phones now that it's not so much an issue.

Also noticing that new articles aren’t moving to discover HubPages, which makes sense if there are no registered view counts to trigger the move.

Hopefully this will be resolved soon

Beginning to update now, just some inertia in the values, presumably because of the number of accounts that have to be refreshed. 9 hours since the last data it's saying.

Good to know. Thanks for update.
