Hi, I wanted to publish my first post, (in purple mood), but the sms verification code does not work. Neither yesterday, nor today. My phone number is correct, but I am not from the USA. I am terribly disappointed.

I read that it is a regular problem. Do I delete my account?

    thanks for the help

Yes, it's a problem with new writers. Don't delete your account.                                        Instead, send an email reporting the issue as you did here to team@hubpages.com/                               Much thanks.

You need to spend time reading the material in the Learning Center, click Help, top right to navigate there.

What you have published is not really an article. The issues are:

Title is not in APA format - use this site: https://capitalizemytitle.com

Images are too small and not credited. They must carry a license that is appropriate for a commercial site and you need to cite the source and link back to the original.

Text should be broken up into multiple text capsules with subtitles. Then you can place images throughout.

The pointillist analogy doesn't work because pointillism is a specific art form that doesn't appear in your article. Just use the colours as necessary.

The Learning Center will teach you all you need to know to produce good magazine-style articles to attract search engine traffic.

      Good luck.

I read with keen interest your article: The Neglected Hungarian Purple Lavenda Bush.                                   The story is honestly in blog form or style.                                  Critically, break the long text into small or short paragraphy as the theragedge had said.

There are several problems with your submission.

The title makes no sense (at least to me), and is certainly not search engine friendly.

There are some grammar and spelling errors. I suggest running your text through a free program such as Grammarly to eliminate mistakes.

Images must be credited as to their source and must be free of copyright restrictions.

You need to spend some time at the Learning Center - follow the link at Help, top right - where there is a wealth of information about how to write and format for HubPages..
