    This is a very interesting discussion on a subject I had never previously seen and a subject I didn't know about. Yet when you read it, it seems obvious that this follows on from those social nerds who have people running after them, yet they treat them badly. I know a number of people online who I have never met and don't expect to meet in this life but who are not (as far as I know) paperclipping me.

    This is an interesting topic that nobody ever discussed previously, here.

    A very interesting article. Mel. I was well aware of the practice but had not heard the term “paper clipping before. I have heard of catfishing however.
