This is a far different animal from what HP was and has been for writers. While they (TAG) post an "expected" hourly rate, the writer must pitch, have their pitch accepted before they can submit (and have their submission accepted as well), and possibly edit existing material. Plus they expect an availability over the weekend. That was never HP's premise and most writers here, unless they've been working side gigs and going off on their own, don't know how to nor have the time to do what TAG is asking. It was a much better gamble to post on HP and hope for passive income. It also gave writers - especially new writers - the opportunity to get their feet wet, develop a style and voice, and gain a following.

What is TAG's application process? They don't address that in the job listing. You'd have to apply blindly to find out.

Most of the job listings that I'm sent via LinkedIn, based on my profile and/or experience, are very upfront about that.

TAG is grasping at straws without offering any real incentive to apply.

Since they stabbed us in the back and I know their values are in the gutter because of such, I wouldn't even considering responding to that job listing.

There's a fellow who "Can't write very well" his articles who has posted in this forum earlier today who might just be the right recruit for ragTAG.
