Matt posted on one of our threads that if we edit (our lowly) HP articles, there's a good chance they'll move to Discover. Well, I have done that, and they are moving over. I am not saying I am making money, but they are now Discover articles.
Thanks, Kenna. That's on my to-do list.
Shauna, Great! I don't have many, but I figured out why not.
I have 70 or so. I'll have to go through them and determine which ones I think are worth the effort.
I'm not sure when I'll get to it, but it's on my to-do list. My brother passed away this past June and I'm still in the early stages of mourning. I have no motivation for anything at the moment. He would be upset, but my creativity has been squelched by this latest occurrence in my life. I'll get there in due time. It's not like I'm losing a fortune by not hopping right on it, right? I probably have more coins sitting in my coin bucket than I earn from HP.
So sorry, Shauna. Hang on in there xxx
So very sorry to hear of your brother's passing, Shauna. That's quite a blow. My deep condolences to you and your family. My brother is the glue that holds what remains of our family together. He calls me weekly just to check up on us. He encourages me in my writing. He takes the time to schedule visits to our older sister who's fighting early dementia. I can't imagine the loss you are facing. So very sorry, dear one. Hugs, Peg
Peg, Dana was the glue of our family, too, despite his illness that he'd dealt with for 14 years (pancreas), which surprisingly wasn't the cause of his death. He died of metastatic cancer, of which he was first diagnosed with bone cancer with the first week of June when he asked our parents to take him to the hospital because he couldn't get out of bed, Within a week (he was admitted the day before Memorial Day) he was moved to hospice and died 6 days later (June 8th). The cancer took him quickly. I'm having a very hard time dealing with his death., He had great faith in my writing ability. I know he'd be upset that I've stepped away from my creativity, but I just can't get there right now.
I'm sorry you experienced such a crushing loss. May the memories of him bring you comfort.
Thank you, Patty. I have wonderful memories of my brother. He'll always be alive in my heart.
Shauna, I am so sorry for the loss of your brother. Take care of yourself.
Thank you, Maria. I'm doing the best I can. All in due time.
I am so sorry for your loss, Shauna. I know your brother meant the world to you.
Yes, he did, John. Thank you so much for your kind words.
0My condolences, Shauna, only time can (PARTIALY) heal the pain; I know, I am the last one left.
Val, so sorry to hear that. Yes, time is the key. And allowing myself to grieve on my terms. Thank you for your sentiment.
Please accept my condolences Shauna. May his soul rest peacefully and may you all be granted the strength to bear this sad loss.
Thank you, Viryabo. We're taking it one day at a time. Some days are better than others.

Hello Hubbers! I'm fairly new to HubPages, I've been here about a week now and love the community so far! Anyway, I was thinking, since we all have the same goal; to make money, get readers and help people, I thought I would make a topic for us all to discuss the best places to post our HubPages...

I just read a Hub that said that the author was going to go to the freelance website and pay people to write articles for him that he would put on HubPages to make himself money from. That can't be okay with the HubPages site, is it? A couple of people commented, including an author that I have...

After only 4 hours of publishing my article, it is indexed and searchable on search engines. Any one else noted this faster indexing of HubPages articles? Is this a positive sign for HubPages on search engines?

I was going through an article on Hubpages Help, and they mentioned NOT (yup, in full caps) to link your network article to HubPages. A link from HubPages to a network site is fine, but not vice versa. My question is - when we create a new article, should we avoid linking to our other HubPages...

Wanted to know whether we can use the same HubPages articles on other websites.?

I want to know if I can put referral links in my HubPages articles. If I can, is there any benefit to doing so? I understand how they work, but i don't know if it works differently if we use them on our HubPages articles as opposed to external blog articles. Enlighten me if...
