Hey all, I just recently started on HubPages and would love some feedback on my first two articles here. Do you have any suggestions or improvements that could garner more readers, make it more interesting etc.

They're fantastic articles and I see one has gone straight to Owlcation - so Hubpages must think they're pretty good too.
Generally can take a few weeks at minimum for them to approve an article for transfer.

Thank you so much! I was not sure if it was too long or just not suited for HubPages. It also says I should try to share it on Facebook, etc., but I am not too sure how. Should I just copy the link?

It's refreshing to have a real, new writer who can write.

Sandee - Could I ask you a question - which you are not obligated to answer if you don't want to?

Many of us have been writing here for 12 years or longer and in times past used to do reasonably well earning from our articles.
A few years back things dramatically changed for various reasons such as Hubpages applying too many adverts on the articles as one example and views and hence earnings rapidly declined.
Because of this many including myself ran out of enthusiasm to keep writing.
However, I'd be interested (and I think many others) to see what number of daily views you're receiving as a fresh writer with well researched and written articles.

Now, let me reiterate, this is none of my business, so if you'd prefer to keep those number of views to yourself, absolutely fine.

I just think if you're getting a decent number of views (of course, it's early days for your new articles - so will take time to be consistent) that it may encourage many of us to start writing again. Cheers

              Hi Jerry,

So I just checked, and for a single day, it is between 1 and 10 views, while in total, my stories have gotten around 65 views. Which is tiny, but I just started to think it may grow. I am trying out Hubpages for three months. If, after that, it still stays around that level, I will let you know.

Very kind to post those thanks Sandee - The views are probably typical of most articles at present on Hubpages - especially given yours are on quite specialist topics. I think it takes a few months for Google to catch on and index new material so your three month experiment is well timed.
