Hubpages takes two minutes, at least, for loading its pages. I am experiencing this issue since yesterday.

Is it the same for you all?

I think it is the tactics now being adopted by them, before closing access to the site completely.

Yes and yes. I think that's exactly what's happening.

With it running this slow, it's going to be really difficult for people to save and/or delete their articles.

It took me forever to just log on to the site and try to reply to this message. At first it loaded with no images. Then I got a 504 timeout message and had to do it again.

Yes, that is the real problem we are experiencing. Keep waiting for endless minutes for the windows to load, once for logging, then for typing the post or comment, and then for submission.

Access to Hubpages author content and artilces for readers/viewers has not slowed at all.  It's the member login and access and thread posting capability that has slowed to almost a standstill.

Sorry for the typos:  Access to Hubpages author content and articles for readers/viewers has not slowed at all.  It's the member login and access and thread posting capability that has slowed to almost a standstill.

As of 10:40 PM Philadelphia City Hall time (ET), the HP site speed has returned to normal. I have checked it on both my Chromebook and cellphone. Maybe it was a server problem. William Penn’s statue atop Philadelphia City Hall is now lit up for the occasion.

I hope it picked up a little speed at present, though not quite enough.
