To the survey requesting feedback, I responded that I was very unlikely to recommend HubPages to friends, and I appended the following:

If by December 30, 2025, the following changes are not effected, on December 31, 2025, I shall delete all of my 800+ articles and leave HubPages permanently:

    1. Restore article page view updating.
    2. Monetize articles within 48 hours of posting.
    3. Increase daily earning to at least $1.75; it is now from about 3 to 14 cents.
    4. Change my unfair scoring on Profile and Articles from 60s to 90s.
    5. Repair broken links function: it currently flags numerous links as broken that are not.

I would like to know how others are responding to this recent survey request, if you care to share.

Linda, I highly doubt HP will respond to your requests. For over two years now, my response to the survey is that I would NOT recommend HP. This format has been doing a nosedive for years and it has accelerated the dive in 2025. It's my opinion that HP will fold in the very near future.

The survey is automatic. I would not prioritize it too highly with HP.

May as well remove your articles and leave now. This site is done.

I totally agree with your request Linda, but if past performance is any indicator of future behaviour, and it usually is, HP will ignore your plea. Whoever is running the thing displays no interest in engaging with those who make the product they are selling.

I would remove my 1,147 articles if there was a viable alternative, but I don't see one. Every time someone suggest a different platform others, who appear to know what they are talking about, come along with the reasons why its useless.

A couple of weeks ago, there was talk of something called Wix, I think. What happened with that?

Wix is one of the easier ways to build your own website, but there are others. The main advantage is that you have to do little to no coding.

Wix is a website builder, Rupert. I think you may be referring to Authory.com, which I introduced as a viable option to HP in a separate forum post, as a format to build your online portfolio. Patty Inglish, MS says she's tried it and likes it very much. Here's the link to that forum post:

I wonder if they are still asking for feedback.

I saved all my articles in PDF files.

The survey opens up at the top of your stats page.

I doubt there are any staffers left to look at those survey results.

Even if there were, your "demands" are bound to fall on deaf ears.

Threatening to remove your articles by such-and-such a date if things don't change is pointless.

There won't be any miraculous "comeback" for HP.  Just delete your stuff and get it over with.

It has been quite some time since I've seen a survey (Jan/Feb maybe). For the last several years I have always responded with would not recommend. Comments have ranged from loss of control, ad placement and page layout, loss of community aspects, lack of care for the platform by developers, and slow responses to technical fixes.

I would not expect anything from your survey response. If you are unaware, they have already recreated several of your articles and posted them on Owlcation (most of which rank higher than yours on Discover). They would only benefit in you removing your content. One less person to pay and their content no longer would have to fight your original article for traffic/ranking.

They could care less about how any of us feel about their platform. The survey is merely one more tech aspect they have failed to remove/fix.

That survey is one of many things left unattended on this platform. Things like those logos for FeltMagnet, CrimeWire, etc., at the side of the desktop versions.

It's also not a matter of whether there are staff to attend to it. It's a case of nobody gives a S. We are probably considered S too.

I would like to thank everyone who has responded to my thread regarding the HubPages Survey.  My plan is to just give HP the next four months to turn around.  My requests for change are serious, but I realize that they may not be taken seriously by HP staff.

Because we all seem to be completely unaware of what admin is doing, we cannot know what they may have in mind for HP in future.  It does seem suspicious that we are left to speculate, as our work gets less and less attention, and less and less pay.  I will stay hopeful until the end of the year, as I have explained.

Wishing everyone blessings for the rest of summer and good tidings for a happy autumn!
