I plan to save my profile, but I also want to save my 34 biographies in a Word document for future use. I had that many varying topics.

That way, I can use them for other CVs when I submit my work for publication or consideration. I might as well, since I did all that writing. Anyone else saving their bios?

I have the original bio in Word, which is where I wrote then copy/pasted to HP. I'm not deleting anything from HP. Once the site goes dark, none of it will be able to be accessed from outside HP anyway, so why bother?

There are many ways to approach this situation.

I copied and pasted my biography to a separate Google Docs document that is stored on my Chromebook hard drive. Just in case, I also backed up the Google Docs document to a third-party location.

I figure I might as well for submissions. Don't want to write them again.

I have a Bios folder on my computer. I have bios for contest entries, poetry bio, short story bio, general bio for creative endeavors, and my HP bio. That way, I don't have to write a new one but can tweak any of my existing bios for the current need. I'll probably combine a couple of them to come up with an About Me page on my Authory site.

I do not see any reason to save mine.

    That is absolutely necessary.

But has HubPages hinted her writers when the hubpages website is to be shut down?

I ask the question because I was away for at most 3 months.

    Much thanks.

Yes, writers will lose access. Here is the data:

You have to the end of February 2026...

After which, all bets are off.

Sometime between now and then I expect the Forums to be shut down as well.
