Just a thought, but couldn't the Locked in place Threads be placed in the Left-hand column like the 30 Hubs in 30 days?

Would allow more threads to be shown in the Recent Forum Activity column. Everyone will still see them.

I think they may consider putting more locked threads at top, like an I'm new here one, but I don't think it matters if they are locked with the others.

Since these Locked Threads are more like Topics than Latest Activity in all Forums, I think they would be better in the left column.

I think it is that they would then move through the page like when someone asks a question it slowly filters down to the next page. But also, that is a place where if participating or not you can find new articles to read, plus post yours in the category. I am too new to vote on this though.

I am not saying to unlock as other threads...move them to the left column like the hubber's hangout, 30 hubs in 30 days, hubbers knowledge exchange, etc. Seems these would fit better there.

Not sure what you mean Michael. Are you talking about the 'sticky' threads?

I guess that is what they are called. Just seems they would be better on the left.

Are you saying you are seeing stickied threads in the left column of some sub-forums?

I haven't seen it. Can you do a screenshot and post it? Or if you can't upload it and put it in a thread then let me know and I'll contact you with my email address and you can email it to me.

no....not in the left column.....I think the top 3 locked in place threads (sticky threads I guess you call them) in the Latest Activity In All Forums (right main column) would be better In the left column. A suggestion.

The Health hub contest, the Hubnuggets and the Hubmob weekly threads in the left column is the suggestion instead of Latest Activity.

DS, I think he means to place those sticky threads over on the left side of forum screen where the list of forum topics are.
<----------------- over there. when you're on the forum page and haven't opened up a thread.

These are Topics that will be going on for a long time.  Make them Topics, instead of Threads.

The hubnugget thread is new every week as is the hubmob one, and the contest is just there for the month. All of these threads are stickified there so they get the attention of new hubbers and the not so new ones too.

I agree that the Hubnugget and the HubMob has new "information" every week, but...it is the same Topic every week, thus...my suggestion for the Topic Column. Same as the 30 Hubs in 30 Days...what is the difference? Can be seen by all on that column.
