For the last couple of days I have seen several Down For Maintenance notices and found that hubpages has only been like this for seconds because it has happened after I have tried moving from one site to another here and if I try again I have gained access. Is anyone else having this strange problem?
I have been getting this also, usually doesn't last long but it's still aggravating
Bard, it might be because of your time zone. HubPages probably does its maintenance when most US users would be offline - which is probably when you're on!
My hub statistics have been frozen for hours now. I haven't seen any notices that they are working on anything and yes it does seem like this has been happening a bit too often in my opinion.
There might be a problem on your end. It could be your browser.
My stats page is working fine and has been all day. I'm monitoring recent changes I've made to my hubs and been watching the traffic.
So, I'm not exactly sure what that is about. If need be, I'd suggest emailing HubPages Staff and ask them.
I just tried it in a different browser and it was still the same...soooo frustrating. Do you know where the email address is to write to hubpages?
Is it that cold in NY - I will have to send you some Greek sunshine
They announced that they are moving the statistics data to another server or something, and said that it should be fixed today. My stats have not moved, either
Where do you find those announcements? And btw, thanks for replying, I thought I was the only one because no one had replied.
"Is it that cold in NY - I will have to send you some Greek sunshine"
Just don't send Greek Fire!
I get these occasionally too, they seem to be resolved quickly though so I am not too worried about them!
I got the maintenance-message yesterday and the maintenance page was colourful this time.
What is really odd about it is that it seems to be only for seconds not even the minutes it says to try again in! If maintenance can be done that quickly that is brilliant! Myspace takes hours!
I lived in Mass, on the East Coast of the U.S. and I've run into the down for maintenance, at least 2 or 3 times today, nevermind yesterday.

A few of my hubs have been copied by a site hosted by GoDaddy. I looked up their page about copyright infringement and something about the DMCA wording and the way that the counter notice was worded made me a little nervous. The GoDaddy reaction to copyright infringements seemed too extreme to me....

How often does hubpages website goes down?

Wouldn't it be nice if some explanation about the hub came with the above mentioned notices. All you get is the general notice that you hub is overly promotional or substandard and it needs to be fixed. If it is re-submitted and is not fixed properly you could be banned from...

If you find that one of your hubs has been copied online, you can file a DMCA notice with Google and have the infringing material taken down. A site called Chilling Effects, a legal site, publishes the take down notices for all to see. So, your DMCA take down is not private. For a brief explanation...

This is very, very, unfortunate, but it seems I have been penalized by a Google Alg or something. I have OVER 100 HUBS that have BLUE ARROWS. My traffic went down earlier this year a bit, but stayed consistent for several months. Now it has dropped by 50%. Not sure if this occurred today or...
