I am in the process of developing several related hubs. I am finding it most helpful to work back and forth between WORD and hubpages. In the process, some of the unpublished hubs are getting "substandard" warnings. Will the unpublished hubs I am working on affect my hubscore?
Sorry if this is snwered elsewhere. I have looked in FAQ and through the forums, but didn't see it yet.
The other day, Maddie (the moderator) left a message on another forum thread that unpublished hubs do not affect your hubscore.
As to the substandard warning, only worry about that after a hub is published. All it is telling you is that the hub is too short. It will disappear when you add more content.
In reality, if you only want to reserve a hub title, you can do so by starting a new hub and not adding any content.
You will see warnings of course, but they don't affect anything unless you hit the 'publish' button.
i agree. I have several unpublished hubs that I'm working on, and they have never affected my overall hubscore. If anything, by the time I do publish the hub, it will probably start off with a high hubscore (like already in it's 70's). As for the warnings, they are just for you... to remind you to add more content, nothing to worry about in an unpublished hub.

Can someone please help me? I've seen some really sub quality hubs out here. I write well and yet my hubs are being unpublished and continuously picked on for sub quality. I'm offended. You're making it not fun to be a hubber. http://vivbounty.hubpages.com/hub/firew … -plus-help

I'm new here at HUB and every one of my hubs has warnings and I've been told that I will be terminated soon because everything I post is substandard. I have read all the Terms. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong and since I'm "punished" and none of them can be viewed, I...

After 6 months on the site i've started the really wonder how many backlinks is a reasonable number to any hub, and really to a hub becoming successful? Or is it simply a lottery. What kind of figures do other hubbers consider?

Just puzzled: How can an unpublished hub attain a higher score than any published hub? (The published hubs with lower scores must be pretty bad!)

I recall a thread where it was suggested HubPages use the word "non-compliant" instead of "substandard" in their email when a Hub is unpublished.I think that idea was adopted?I'd love to see the word "substandard" banished altogether from HubPages and replaced with the...
