Google Adsense link

   I'm puzzled. I just clicked on "Affiliate Settings" and there's a code in the box that I don't remember seeing. Next to the code "Sign Up" is highlighted.
   
   All my hubs already have Google ads on them.
   
   Anyway, I clicked "sign up" and checked the box saying that I already have a Google Adsense account. Then I clicked the box that said "link to my account."
   
   Can someone explain to me what is this all about?  Is it something new? What does "link to my account" mean in this context?

   The code in the box next to "Sign Up" should be your Adsense publisher ID.  Do you really have Adsense account?  If you do, copy your ID start with "pub-" to the box.  If you don't, then the code in the box is not yours.  You are making money for someone else.  Apply an Adsense account, then put you Adsnese PID into the box.

   I do have a Google Adsense account. I just signed in to it, but the Affiliate Code section still says "Sign In" even though I signed in earlier today and clicked on the "link to my account."
   My Ebay, Amazon and Analytics section say "Edit," not "Sign In." The ca-pub" number is in the box. I do have statistics when I sign in to Analytics. Sorry, but I'm still confused about this.

   Ignore it. Mine says the same. It's always been like that. I don't know why. It's just confusing for old and new members alike.
   
   As long as the the status is "Active" you should be fine.

   william if you see your adsense account id in the affliate settings page besides google which would be like "ca-pub-xxxxxxx",then you don't have to link your adsense account again.otherwise if you see a blank space in the box next to google click signup and link with ur adsense account submitting ur email id with which you log into adsense,the last five numbers of the phone no which you gave, and the zip code of your address.. you can find all these information on the adsense my account page...just give it atry ..you 'll understand...
   
   ps:if there's blank space in the box beside google in aff.settngs i'm sorry to tell you but you lost your adsense income on hubpages for 7 months..so just link them fast to lose not any more money..
