So I get home from a very long day at work, and I go to my computer and sit down, I browse around on the Hubpages forums, and fall asleep in my computer chair. My chair is leather, it's pretty padded and comfortable, but not the type of chair that you would sleep in. I woke up about 4 hours later with a sore neck. Ouch! hehe smile

It's the rare day that I don't fall asleep there at least once!

Perhaps I would too if my computer chair was like a lazy-boy or something. I mean, my chair is comfortable and big and.. leathery... but it's hardly the chair to sleep in haha.

Sleep deprivation cares little for comfort!

Oh, I can understand that! I've been having some bad insomnia (Got a temporary job working overnight - Had to flip my sleep schedule around). It's probably why I slept in my chair. big_smile

An irregular sleep cycle can mess you up.

As I have one of those ball chairs, falling asleep while sitting on it just isn't part of the deal.

Yeah, I've fallen asleep in the chair.  I've nodded off with my head resting in the palm of my hand, which is on top of the desk.  When your head moves and falls off your hand, you wake up wondering what in the you-know-what just happened.

Can't say that I have fallen asleep in my computer chair.  But I have watched the sun come up many times and suddenly realized that I lost track of the hours and was in a new day.  Many times!

If you do some HubHopping you will discover that there are many people posting who seem to be doing it in their sleep. (No one in this thread.)

I'm almost always on my laptop, sitting in my recliner - so yes, its easy to fall asleep.  I don't think I'd fall asleep at the desk lol
