I know some of you didnt even know I was gone and thats cool.
However i have many emails asking me where I have been.
Well I have been quitting smoking. Was very difficult to come on the computer and not smoke.
i have written a hub about my 10 days of not smoking so go ahead and have a gander.
I know i am so far behind and i will be working my butt off to get caught up.
Anyways thats all for now.
I applaud you Dale, it's a tough thing to do but a smart thing to do too. I can remember how tough it was for me 14 years ago when I went cold turkey. Best thing I ever did. Congrats and welcome back.
I missed being online but just had to stay away for a while.
I feel good about it now though
It will get better each day....believe it or not.
Hi Dale, welcome back. Nice to hear you're on your way to quitting the evil weed. I guess you've been automatically associating smoking with being on the computer, kind of like a smoke and a coffee at breakfast. Congrats on your progress. Soon you'll be able to taste real food again (so I've heard...I've never smoked).
A big thank you to everyone. I will make it and you will be seeing me more and more online again, Starting slow and going to get back on as much as before
Welcome back Dale!! Thanks for putting my Think Pink hub on your blog. I have been away for the last month and haven't been able to thank you so thank you and again welcome back
Welcome back Dale! Cheers to your quitting -- this is terrific!
Glad to see you back again.
Happy to hear\see that you are having some success with th smoking thing too.
Stay Strong and it will get better.
I have wondered how you were doing, Dale. Glad to know you've stuck with it. I knew you could do it. If I had to bet money on someone doing something they set out to do, it would be you. I know it's been tough. Hang in there.
Well thank you so much, if that isnt a boost of confidence not sure what is.
Today is day 11 and to be honest its almost like I wasnt a smoker. At least for now Im not missing smokes, at least barely missing them. I do get the short lived cravings, but a few secs and they are gone
Good for you Dale. I should have stayed away when I was in the first throes.
I am actually going almost entire days without thinking about it now. (8th month) - So I know you can do it.

After 2 weeks of being an active member of HubPages, I finally got my first HP accolade. I know it isn't much but I'm just happy that all of my five submitted hubs were featured and I finally passed boot camp! ^^ Now, I'm just hoping to continue what I've already started here at HP and I do hope...

Here I am, day 6 of joining hubpages. I'm just writing here to let new comers and beginners like me to know that the hub system is working out pretty well than I expected. For the first week what I learned was more than what I contributed for this community and I believe I am inspired by a lot of...

I'm so hugely impressed with HubPages right now it's untrue. 6 days since I joined and a fair number of my hubs are already indexed by Google, 1,011 kind folk have come by to take a look and a few have left some very pleasant comments. Cheers, HubPages, for the double achievement of...

I have just got back from the honeymoon with a ring on my finger and a slight sunburn on my shoulders, I have to admit, New Orleans is Amazing! The wedding went perfectly - great weather despite a 50% chance of rain and 30% chance of thunderstorms, a gorgeous boat cruise, and an alcohol fueled after...
