I NEED HELP!!!!! Urgent!

   So, I had a marketing company that is harassing me like crazy. I decided to put my foot down and write a hub about them. He is commenting on my hub and telling me that I don't know what to do. I need help.
   
   This isn't mandatory, but I would be grateful if I could get some comments or some links to this hub so that I can be #1 in google for his main keyword phrase: 'UPG marketing.'
   
   It's more of a revenge at this point and I know you've all been there before.

   Number one on Google isn't a place of authority, its a position reserved for an article that is serving Google well. If you want to hit #1 in Google then you need to have many readers and backlinks, and that means hitting the social bookmarking sites and spreading the word.
   
   Hit Twitter, Myspace, Facebook, Reddit (a really good one), Digg, and anywhere else you can draw in a crowd.
   
   And pay no attention to your *fan* as they are trying to stifle your voice by leading you to believe you're outcry will go unheard. And so ... you need to work the web to make your voice louder.

   I want to approve his comments because I want to see people lambaste him as I am.
   
   I am doing some tweets and that sort of thing, I'm just asking for help in sending out tweets, facebook statuses, diggs, etc. I can only do it so fast.
   
   He tried to rip me off and then was incredibly rude over the phone and has called me EIGHT times in 2 days still trying to sell to me.
   
   It's obnoxious.

      In the UK we have Data Protection Laws where if you tell a marketing company to take you off their list and not contact you again (in fact in the UK it is against the DPA to call someone to sell them something unless you have indicated that you want this call)and they don't, you can report them and they may well get heavily penalised.  Do you have something similar in the US?
      
      Alternatively, get an injunction against them or report them to the police for harassment

   I totally agree with Yoshi, spreading the word on those sites and others will definately help. You could also try redgage, for a little extra exposure.

   As an added thought ... Try to be careful how you disagree with BP. Making it sound like you are the nice guy just trying to rub them away and you will obtain much more sympathy from the crowd.
   
   This rube is out to get your goat, and if BP sinks you to their level they will turn it around to make you look like the bad guy. It's a touch deal, but you need to keep yourself human as they self-destruct ... therefore furthering your cause.
