What a great idea, Enelle - I'm there! Thanks so much for the backlink.
Awesome hypnodude! Am looking forward to seeing you there
Thanks for this wonderful site and the idea! It's really great and I will sign up very soon!
pls explain what is a backlink, in simple terms to be understood by first time hubbers and new members
I've got a hub that covers the basics of backlinks and links in general here which will help: http://hubpages.com/hub/What-is-a-link
A backlink is made when you post a link somewhere else that leads back to you. You create a backlink on Hub Pages every time you comment on someone's hub. Your name and profile picture, which is posted with your comment, is actually a link back to your profile page - a "backlink".
When you visit an external (not on Hub Pages) web site where you are invited to leave a comment/blurb/article along with a link back to your work, you leave the comment/blurb/article AND the URL (web address) of the article or web site you want people to visit - that is leaving a backlink, or, in other words, a link back to your work. Then, when someone clicks on that URL (the web address, which, when posted, becomes a link), they will be taken to your work via your "back-link".
I have already posted a few links. Unlike some of the other sites that are ONLY backlink sites, this site actually has other content, so there shouldn't be the problems with Google.
Thanks Tony and Susana, welcome and the more the merrier!

Why are these trolling HubPages members with no hubs written even allowed to stay on the site?So many say rude comments and give know-it-all "advice" yet don't even have ONE hub written. Like this person > LiveFreeBeFree Joined 2 years ago, has a 60 score and hasn't written a...

I've read over and over the "get quality backlinks with Qassia" line.Is it true? Do links from this site help? How do you do it? I know you write the "intel", but where does the backlink link to? Your profile? Or can you change it to different hubs each time?
