Surprised no one else has reported this guessing it's a temporary glitch and would normally have posted this except nobody else seems to have noticed and are posting hubs etc which seems wierd. I am not seeing any files from z.hubpages.com in any browser (images and css), guess there's a server down!
I am having the same problem.I have a totally white page with links listed down the side for each thing and half the stuff doesn't work..HELP.
This is most likely related to the DNS problem we had on Sunday morning. DNS is the service that translates a domain address (like z.hubpages.com) into a numeric ip address, which can then be located on the internet. When bad DNS data gets into the wild, it can take a while to clear up because the mapping between an address and an ip address can be cached for a configurable amount of time (called the TTL), typically 24-48 hours. I think if you just wait a little longer, the problem will clear itself up.
I haven't heard that expression for a long while. You are showing your age
You will probably have to explain it to our American and Australian cousins.LOL
YOU FORGET THE INDIANS!!! I AM ANGRY WITH YOU MARK ::
I have just seen this comment Mark!! apologies for the delay in responce! Please dont assume someones age, by the phrases or words they use!! This has been proved here!! We all know about the problems with assumption!!
As far as explaining to my cousins, i have in another thread that im over a decade younger than Mishas 48 age..!!
I alwasy respect my elders;) The good thing about getting older? There is less people to respect!!
LOL It took me a moment to figure out this was a Russian Abbreviation
Thanks SunSeven And did you know the whole CCCP was crazy about bollywood movies?
I believe they loved the movie 'Sholay' and many songs of that period. I had many friends in the undivided USSR. I still read publications(most of them very old translations) from Progress.
I still have many friends in many now independent countries - and keep making them, cause I usually go there a couple of times a year doing some consultancy work for the World Bank...
Actually, I don't really remember what movie(s) were there, but I just recalled the actor - Radge Kapour (not sure about spelling). He was insanely popular among Soviet women
Oh, and did we manage to successfully high-jack this thread after Mark's failed attempt?
Nice Mishka pic you have
Yeah, it was Raj Kapoor. And I recalled the movie actually, and looked it up - it is Awaara. I think there were many more later, but this was probably the first one and made the most impact
And how do you type in Russian? Do you have russian keyboard installed?
While not perfect Russian, this was absolutely understandable
I would have said:
Нет Миша, у меня нет русской клавиатуры. Я так обхожусь!
Så, tar vi den här tråd i anandra ritkning, då?
Vad talar ni för språk?
Jag har kapat tråden igen!
P.S. Of course, this hijacking attempt will fail dismally if the one other person I know of who speaks Swedish doesn't read this ... so, the gist of it is "What languages do you all speak?"
I am still getting the z.hubpages thing...and still waiting.
I have cleaned the cache..and the history...it seems to be fine for a bit and then back down.
I are so sweet Compu-smart. What does that expression mean, now I want to know.

Hi, I've just been looking through some of my hubs and there's at least one image on each one that doesn't load correctly and I get the "x".I have tried clearing browser history settings, but it still shows these images not loading. For example, check out my hub on Shamrock Polymer Clay...

I use the internet with Firefox. All other websites seem to load just fine, my internet connection is pretty fast, but Hubpages is getting increasingly slower for me. Also, the picture and text problem with not saving when working on a hub is still an issue. I add a picture, upload, put in a...

I had one of my readers ask why the images on PetHelpful weren't loading. I went and checked it out. Sure enough. On my mobile phone (Samsung Android using Sprint), the images didn't load. They did load on my laptop using Firefox. This reader could get the images to...

Whenever I click on a link to a hub, the title and the first few lines load and then the page freezes. The status bar reads "connecting to YieldBuild.com" (I understand yieldbuild to be the ad server for hubpages.)This has been going on for a few hours and happens whether I use Explorer...

Hubpages have developed a habit of keeping unpublishing my hubs for "linking to prohibited sites" - However, the particular hub in question which keeps repeatedly being unpublished does NOT contain any links whatsoever! It has been submitted, re-approved and then unpublished again...
