Whenever I click on a link to a hub, the title and the first few lines load and then the page freezes. The status bar reads "connecting to YieldBuild.com" (I understand yieldbuild to be the ad server for hubpages.)
This has been going on for a few hours and happens whether I use Explorer or Firefox. No other sites are behaving this way and I can access other parts of Hubpages such as the forums and people's profiles (where there are no ads, incidentally). I suspect there is some glitch in the ad server.
Is anyone else having this problem?
I just noticed that some of my pages are loading very slowly. This is unusual. Hubpages is normally very fast...something I appreciate.
Yep, I am having this problem too. Many of the hubs I am able to access have no adds at all. Certain hubs won't load at all.
Me too. I thought it was just because I was trying to load a page that was heavy with videos. I guess not
I am noticing that some hubs are loading very slowly, too.
I'm experiencing slow loading too. Thought it was my Internet connection guilty
Me too. Additionally, on some hubs the comment capsule is missing.
I was starting to think it only happened to me but now I see I´m not alone. Lets hope this thing will go away soon enough! There are lots of new hubs I want to read...
I've disabled ads altogether on hubs until the problem is cleared up. Enjoy the ad free HubPages experience while it lasts.
Just noticed a drop in google rankings of one of my popular hubs.....wondering if it has anything to do with no adsense ads on the hub? Does google respond that quickly? Or am I being paranoid?

I was thinking of splitting an article into 2 or even 3 different hubs because it was too long. How many words should our articles have before we can publish them on HubPages? I checked the HubPages FAQ page but the only word count listed there refers to the total number of words that an article...

I have a personal blog, and I was wondering if it's a good idea to write a post where I add reference links to my hubpages articles? Is it a good SEO practice or a bad idea? thanks

Hello Hubbers! I'm fairly new to HubPages, I've been here about a week now and love the community so far! Anyway, I was thinking, since we all have the same goal; to make money, get readers and help people, I thought I would make a topic for us all to discuss the best places to post our HubPages...

Do we need to backup our Hubpages articles? In the event of a crash, is Hubpages backed up regularly? Or maybe your account was hacked, or even, good forbid, you did something stupid/accidentally and got yourself banned, would you lose access to all your hard work? I always backup my computer, but...

I just read a Hub that said that the author was going to go to the freelance website and pay people to write articles for him that he would put on HubPages to make himself money from. That can't be okay with the HubPages site, is it? A couple of people commented, including an author that I have...
