I have a couple of questions.
1. How do I delete a hub?
2. Is the traffic stats accurate as I really don't think they are?
1. When you look into your account and click on "edit" the hub, you have the option to unpublish. Once unpublished you can delete.
2. No, don't take it as gospel. Nothing ever is, but if you sign up for a Google Analytics account (free) you do gain a better measure.
Check out the help section of HubPages.
You can delete a hub by clicking on it in your statistics, then pressing delete at the top.
The hubpages statistics are good for guidelines, but you would be better off getting Google Analytics.
How do I set up google analytics for a hub though? And thanks both of you for your help. I will go and try to delete the hub now.
Glad you've made some progress.
I don't want to put anybody out of their hard efforts, so if you click on the following link it'll take you to the most pertinent portion of the HubPages FAQ. I assure you it can't be written any better than me, unless you're looking for weird references to obscure popular culture mixed in.
No problem. The tracking code (not the Java, should look like something like mine: UA-1694XXX7-1) is placed under "Affiliate Settings" on the "My Account" page.

For the past 3 days my hubpages statistics have not been updated. I saw a notice from hubpages twice on my accounts section stating that hubpages is going through some maintenance and that statistics will be updated in a day or two but it has been more than 3 full days already. Am I the only one?

I don't know if has been mentioned here before but I want an option that would omit myself as data from the hubpages statistics. I view my own pages often to proof read and tweak my hubs. I notice that the page view counter still goes up. I would like to omit myself from the data and track ONLY...

I recently posted about hitting 25 Hubs (just published my 28th today too, yay!) and getting the notification that I was in the top 3% of Hubbers as a result (maybe it was as a result; the language was somewhat ambiguous). One or two members commented that there are some general...

I brought this up in discussion over the summer and Hub Pages indicated that they would contact Google about it. HP told me to start a new thread if the problem wasn't resolved. The problem was, and still is, as follows: My Adsense page views are about 1/10th of those on Hubpages...
