Our tiny granddaughter is in the hospital with some sort of infection they haven't yet identified. They've done x-rays, blood work, and a spinal tap. We're anxiously awaiting the results.
Any prayers and/or positive thoughts are much appreciated!
Best wishes to her.
They'll find whatever it is that's ailing her.
:: BIG HUG ::
Will be praying for your daughter, I hope they find out what it is and treat her asap. We wish her well.
I'm so sorry to hear this Holle! My prayers are with your little granddaughter and family. Blessings.
You know she has all my best thoughts Habee. I am sad to hear she is still struggling.
Thanks, Ohma and W. Ohma, she's been doing great until now - at least after her first couple of weeks. I am so worried!
Habee I can understand how frantic you and your family must be. If I can help in any way please let me know.
It's gonna be okay, habee.
I know this song is kind of, well not really meant for this (or maybe it was written just for you), you'll just have to be the judge of that...
Think about the words.
My nephew had some BIG issues when he was born and was given just weeks to live. He'll be celebrating his 2nd birthday this month.
Insert "better than" between be and okay in the sentence that I started with.
You have a HUGE community of support here. Let us know if you need anything. Seriously, if you need someone to talk to, I'm just one state up/over.
Poor baby! I am wishing for/praying for/ hoping for her health to return so she can go back to being a healthy kid.
My thoughts and prayers for your granddaughter and for your family, too Habee.
Oh, Holle-what an ordeal for both the little one and the family. My prayers and thoughts are going your way!
Kirsten, I can't stand the thought of the spinal tap on my little angel!
Hi, Laurel. Thanks sooo much!
Holle, I'm so sorry to hear this! Hope that little girl will be o.k. Sending up prayers and thoughts of well-being for her, you, and the rest of the family.
Wishing you and your grandbaby all the best, Habee! Tons of love, good wishes, and positive thoughts are rocketing your way from Texas!
lots of good positive thougths for all of you. Hang in there, kids are so amazingly resillient!!!
Thoughts and prayers going your granddaughters (& your) way. Hugs!
As someone else said, they're on the way.
Habee, I know you can't go by this as far as reassurance goes; but when my daughter was just short of six weeks she was hospitalized for "some infection". The doctor was worried because she was still technically a newborn. They did all the tests you've mentioned, we had to wait two days to get results back, and it turned out to be some "run-of-the-mill" upper respiratory infection. They have to be super-cautious with such young babies. (I'm sure you already know that, of course.)
