Our tiny granddaughter is in the hospital with some sort of infection they haven't yet identified. They've done x-rays, blood work, and a spinal tap. We're anxiously awaiting the results.

Any prayers and/or positive thoughts are much appreciated!

      Got mine.

      Best wishes to her.

They'll find whatever it is that's ailing her.

Thanks, Ohma and W. Ohma, she's been doing great until now - at least after her first couple of weeks. I am so worried!

      It's gonna be okay, habee.

I know this song is kind of, well not really meant for this (or maybe it was written just for you), you'll just have to be the judge of that...

      Think about the words.

My nephew had some BIG issues when he was born and was given just weeks to live. He'll be celebrating his 2nd birthday this month.

Insert "better than" between be and okay in the sentence that I started with.

You have a HUGE community of support here. Let us know if you need anything. Seriously, if you need someone to talk to, I'm just one state up/over.

As someone else said, they're on the way.

Habee, I know you can't go by this as far as reassurance goes; but when my daughter was just short of six weeks she was hospitalized for "some infection".  The doctor was worried because she was still technically a newborn.   They did all the tests you've mentioned, we had to wait two days to get results back, and it turned out to be some "run-of-the-mill" upper respiratory infection.  They have to be super-cautious with such young babies.  (I'm sure you already know that, of course.)
