Idea: View Backlinks, sort hubs by income potential, etc...

    It would be nice to be able to click "my account" and instead of just seeing a list of my hubs, I could choose to view different metrics for the hubs. Currently if I want to see the income potential or number of backlinks a hub has, I have to go to that hub. It would be nice to see all of this in "my account" so I can see which hub needs more work on backlinks or see which hubs have a high income potential so I may want to write more hubs like it or build more backlinks on that one.

    It would also be nice, if possible, to see the backlinks... who is linking to me. If a hubber links to my hub I have no way of knowing unless they say so or I do a google search of my hubs url. Just would be nice to have more developed tools to build income here on HubPages.

      I would like it if the analytics showed the actual traffic source rather than just hupages, search engines, social networking sites and "other".

    hello melbel,this is a great suggestion. this will be so easy to navigate to see the hub's potential and to pin point the good money making hubs.

    A lot of what you are describing is available by using Analytics with your Hubs.

    But see, analytics just shows where traffic is coming from, not the backlinks.

    It's not built in to the Hub Pages interface, but I use a site called backlinkwatch.com to see who's linking to me. Backlinkwatch also shows the anchor text being used within the link. This is especially good for SEO purposes.
