Trying to complete my hub challenge I have had a few ideas for hubs and tried to use the relevant keywords for a title only to be told that they are in use, but when I search google and hubpages I can't find the relevant hub, it does not seem to exist.. The only thing that comes to my mind is that they have been "reserved" un-published by someone else, preventing others from taking their keywords.. I know that I have a couple that have sat there a while incomplete..
Maybe I am wrong, does anyone else have any ideas?
If this is the case can a limit be placed on how long a hub can stay in existence without publishing, this will ensure that the keywords are released back into the pool for others to use for their titles..
I've got some saved in my unpublished list from the end of 2009. I'm really trying to get all of them finished soon.
You can change up the url to be url_title or url-title. or try to find a slightly different key phrase.

So, I didn't do very good research about the hub name, and so I did it after the fact, learning that there are actually a few other articles on the net with the same title I used for my latest hub. I think I should rename it, and am okay for taking a few dings for a few weeks if it will help in the...

I've been writing here for quite a few years, I go back to the ancient era before the 'featured' 'not featured' declension.I have found that 'fixing' a Hub which is not featured is a total waste of time, as in a day or so, after a fix, it is back to unfeatured. I did an experiment and I can...

My most recent hub was Snipped and given a new short title by staff which does not properly reflect the contents of the hub. Views have been negatively impacted and have not picked up after the change. I want to change the title back to what it was. I wrote to staff...

A couple of days ago I get an email from HubPages saying my hub had been reviewed and it was fine. This hub was moved to a niche site 2 weeks earlier. Why was it reviewed again. Are hubs chosen for review at random. I think this is the first time I got this kind of email.

I now have 11 hubs that are not indexed by google - nothing published since July 12 (the last one was published on the 9th and indexed yesterday). Normally I've seen then set up with 24 hours, occasionally in 48, but now it's 8 days and not done!!??

I hear the phrase, "mature a hub," a lot. What actually happens when a hub matures? I know people say that after a hub has matured (around six months) it starts to do much better. But what actually happens when a hub matures? Thanks!
