    Welcome to HubPages!

Darkside wrote some great hubs you can read to get a better understanding.

    http://hubpages.com/hub/how
    http://hubpages.com/hub/howhubworks
    http://hubpages.com/hub/Hubscore
    http://hubpages.com/hub/hubpages-works

That should just about do it. I'm sure others will come along and help out, but that's the gist of it. smile

    The brief answer?

Hubscore is related to a specific hub.

Author score is the number related to all your activity on HubPages.

I am, thank you! smile  I've just been exceedingly busy as of late.  It's good though, it means I'm too busy to get into trouble....it also means I'm too busy to do somebody else's work! smile
