Despite hubpages having a great FAQ, and heaps of help that is easy to find, we all learn a bit differently, or at least I did.
It took me a while to find the hubbers I could learn from when I first started to write here.
I was wondering if it would help for some of us experienced hubbers to list some helpful hubbers you know here, and even mention what they will be able to help you with on hubpages if you have the time to help that much.
The helpers here all have different styles and ways of teaching that will suit differing tastes and ways of learning
Helpful hubbers are plentiful, and some great hubber is sure to be missed, but at least we can steer the newbies towards what it is they need to know to have fun and learn how to write great hubs.
I can remember that I got a lot of personal help and information from many.
Mark Knowles, lizzie Sowerbutts, Relache, Darkside, agvulpes, PGrundy leap to mind.
Thank you,
Ernest.
Over to other hubbers.
Sunforged, Frogdropping, jimmythejock, Rebecca E.,Edweirdo, Misha, Lady_E, Susana S
and that was just off the top of my head! So many great hubbers and all so helpful
Well the top of your head works just fine! A great list! Thank you.
My pleasure and if I many add , a great thread you started for anyone starting out. . it can be somewhat daunting which way to go, and I really think this thread can put many on the right path..
WTG Earnest:)
Hey Earnest, there is one hubber on YOUR list that isn't on HubPages any longer- PGrundy. Remember, she left?
However, I'll agree on the rest without a doubt.
Shadesbreath- Awesome hubber, worthy of reading.
Sunforged- Resident "Guru" on all things SEO Writing.
Nelle Hoxie- Resident Sales "Guru".
Darkside- Resident HubPages Specialty Hubs on HubPages
Thisisoli- Resident Webmaster "Guru" with Multiple Sites.
Ryankett- Resident Statistical "Guru" and Tracker - Specialty Ebay and Amazon
Relache- Resident All-Around "Guru" on What To Do and What Not To Do.
Misha and Mark Knowles- Both Resident Affiliate "Guru"s
Not to forget- HubPages Staff, Marissa Wright, Irohner, Ultimate Hubber, Website Examiner....
Okay, I got carried away, but there are just so many that contribute to the community as a whole and many have their own special value.
HUBPAGES ROCKS!!!!!
All of these hubbers and more! And you were one of the very first to welcome me and comment on my first hubs, Earnest!
Marisa Wright also helped me to get my Adsense and Amazon affiliates set up because I knew her from another site. Sometimes a newbie is afraid to ask many questions here at first, but all of these folks are answering queries and usually all you have to do is visit the forums to get the answers you need.
A very good community compared to most writing sites!
Randy you are very much on the list. You are a major asset here.
Not too good at helping others with the technical stuff though, Earnest. Fortunately my son is computer IT but he doesn't know much about how things work on a site like this.
Five years ago I knew nothing much about using a computer at all, but since then, I have sold travel articles, and even some mystery stories now sold on Kindlebooks and several other audio book marketers. I also am quite pleased with the way my articles here continue to make more money each month.
This is an excellent site to learn the ropes before having your own website. Something I hope to do soon.
Thank you Randy. You are one of the nice helpful knowledgeable ones here, and are definitely on the list!
Wonderful guys!
I hope our newbies find this forum thread and check out Cagsil's list. It is a beauty!
Thank you very much for going to the effort to list their specialities! You rock!
Marrisa Wright is a great addition and very helpful and kind.
I do remember that Pam is gone now that you mention it cags.
I am happy you both confirm what a fine little spot we have here on hubpages!
Hey Earnest, I just included everyone on HubPages Staff. So, in a way, I mentioned Maddie.
Oh. OK. Great Cags, I missed that somehow. . There are a lot of good hubbers here and you did a great job of listing many. I know all the one's you listed are first class!Well done my friend!
Not only to bump this thread..
But, to offer an excellent read for any newbie who wants to write for money.
Marissa wrote an AWESOME Hub with Tips.

List of Huber’s for Newbie’s??? Hmmmm?
Cagsil-always willing to take the time to help out or listen/ but always strait up and says it the way he sees it
Shadesbreathe- Great Huber
Mike Licktieg- great supporter, very empathetic
Veronica Allen- encouraging
Lorlie6- very sweet/ very kind/ very welcoming
Misha- well informed, encouraging, wants to help and see others do well.
Blonde Poet- Funny, shows the bright side of things, if you ask-she will reply with an honest, sometimes silly answer just to get you to smile (luv her)
Thank you kindly Holly. I'm honored and smiling. Hope you're doing well. It's great to see you about.
I think waynet should be added to this list. He's got some helpful hubs.
Cags, you missed YOU. Thanks to H.C. for mentioning that you have a wonderful way of talking to newbies, sending them in the right direction and giving them straight-up advice.
Yes, Marissa Wright, Cagsil, eanest and sunforged. The person, I forgot his name, who did the youtube videos on traffic etc... Im so bad with names, the beautiful boy who sits in Greece and writes. Everyone in fact is great. Lizzie sometimes has some words of wisdom too....
AND all of the above mentioned by all others.. all seem to give excellent help and assistance when you are struggling, trying to reach the next step in what you are doing or what you are writing about....
((((()))))) IN gratitude for all the amazing advice.

Just wanted to say a very big thank you to HubPages Staff for working so hard to update the Stats yesterday. It is appreciated.

all the people I see spamming the forums are signing up long enough to post on the forum but aren't writing any hubs. So ... I was thinking. Why not require three hubs from a person before they can post in the forums? They would still be allowed to read to their heart's content, but they would need...

In the past many Hubbers, including myself, have seen the "Report a Problem" or "Need Help" threads as a way to either get a policy explained, or as a way to escalate an urgent problem when emails weren't eliciting a response. It is now obvious that is no longer the case,...
