here I go..........breaking rule
1.
2.
3.
0.11
0.22
0.33
you can be banned for breaking number 3. don't break number 3 whatever you do. or you'll be in bad company.
Never would even consider it, my friend. Wouldn't want THAT tattoed (sp?) on my conscience.
There is a right way and a wrong way, bend it like wet bamboo, just don't break it
#1 I think we should protest
#2 I didn’t do it, but got blamed anyway
#3 Summary Conviction is just plain mean
Define NICE! but is my nice the same as your nice? and if we cannot define nice, then . . . you see how difficult it is for me?
The THREE unwritten rules of HubPages:
(#1) DO NOT USE ALL CAPS WHEN POSTING it is against online etiquette.
(#2) Use the SEARCH feature before asking foolish questions.
(#3) No Pissing Off Staff Members!
Simple enough.
Have a great day!
that can't be them, becoz youve written them!
...umm...is it just me? or does that absolutely make no sense? :?
if unwritten rules are written then their no longer unwritten rules.
Even your logic fails you.
The OP was looking for or stating unwritten rules. However, there are "unwritten" rules on Hubpages. I just pointed out what they are.
They still remain unwritten, because I personally do not make the rules nor do I work for Hubpages. Therefore, the rules I have posted, remain "unwritten" rules on Hubpages. You will not find them anywhere within the rules, FAQ's, Learning Center or anywhere else for that matter.
@Steven, if it makes no sense you? I guess I am not surprised.
are you questioning my intellect, cagsil?
by the way, criticizing a person's post makes you look small and petty. just a thought.
he questions most people's intellect, Steven, its just in his nature and I don't pay no attention! lalala la!
how you doing, buddy?
yeah. well cags is lucky i don't know him in real life, as it's in my nature to...ah never mind. it's not worth getting banned in forums for saying it.
I'm doing great thanks. how about yourself? what have you been up to mega?
well - I have been writing a little, and goofing off a lot! I got to 100 again though! wooohoooo! finished Chapter 12 - so I'm chugging along. It's real warm sunny Indian summer day today and I am busy getting annoyed by little stuff that shouldn't bother me! what else is new, huh. and you?
eh not much. just working on some homework right now, while working on some hubs. lol. hey did you know they're making a movie based on the 8 ball? lol. man, they must really be running out of ideas these days for films. what next? twister?
based on the 8 ball? as in pool ball? I'll have to say it again, then:
good grief!
Maybe I have a better chance of making a screenplay for a movie out of Thirty Years Alone, than I had thought! At least one of my readers said they thought it was like a movie. Delusion of grandeur - another unwritten rule - hubbers must not get delusions of grandeur about how great they are just cuz their hub got 500 comments! (that has never happened to me, btw.)
dear sir, i am the Original Poster, so i think i know what i want.
oh okay. sorry, i was half awake when i read your post, that i didn't get it at first. i guess that's what i get for burning the midnight oil studying all night and only getting a few hours of sleep.
in the words of david spade from Joe Dirt:
1. I'm number one!
2. Your number two.
3. You really want a match? How about my face and your a**...I..I..I mean..your a** and my face. Whats up! (acting tough) well hell, you know what i mean!
Reminds me of something I read long ago on the proper way verbs should be conjugated.
- Quote – start -
1. I am consistent.
2. You are stubborn.
3. He is a pig-headed fool.
- Quote – end -
edit: There is probably a book of those somewhere.
I am seriously surprised everyone forgot the important rule;
4.
I need to know the difference between stubborn and determined. \
except for the positive and negative inference, they are basically describing the same act, yes?
Yep!
“Stubborn” means stupid, etc.
“Determined” means dedicated, etc.
Both mean undeterred.
Yeah I like #4 too read my hubs....I am having a real low traffic day!!

What are the unwritten rules you must not break as hubbers?

Are there any unwritten rules of etiquette on HubPages of which one should be aware?
by Michael Collins aka Lakemoron 11 years ago
Many states have laws on how to drive. With each law there is an unwritten law on how to drive. It seems like every state has its own version of this kind of unwritten law. Unwritten because most (if not all) are not only not laws but actually violate the written law. Most people know that this is...

We are making some design changes to the email notifications that you receive from HubPages. Instead of looking like this:It will look like this (click to see full-size):Much prettier, I think. Thanks James and Ari for their work on this.

Does the number of real life friends a person have define them?In other words, is the number of friends that a person has important? Do outsiders see it as a status booster or a status dropper?

A very kind soul noticed a month ago that I need to learn how to break up my text with photos or something between the paragraphs when my text is long. She explained how to do it. I tried and couldn't grasp it. Then I misplaced or accidentally deleted her email -- so I haven't...
