      Here is an idea:

I just did a Search-Hubbers for: “profile Indonesia”.

Sure enough, lots of entries came up.

I think you can take it from there… smile

    Welcome to HubPages!

From the post you created and the fact that you have 34 hubs in 5 weeks time, means you haven't had time to get used to HubPages inner workings, other than hubs.

You've posted to the forum about 20 times...and you wonder why you only have 16 followers? hmm

Your authorscore means that your work, written hubs, are not trafficked, that you don't participate in the community, reading and commenting on hubs, rating hubs or converse in the forums.

Have you been to the "Extreme Hub Makeover" forum thread? It is the best place to get your writing critiqued by the veterans. If not, then I suggest you go post a couple of links and let them have at them. Maybe you'll learn something.

On another thought, from the way and the words you used to form your OP(open post), I'm only guessing that English is not your primary language. If your writing has grammar errors and read by other hubbers, you could suffer negative ratings or having your hubs flagged for poor quality of content.

However, I do hope you enjoy your time here.

Thanks for your answer. I am Indonesian,, and I just learn to use and speak English. If I make mistakes, maybe this is a part of my effort to improve my English capability, I will and always study hard to get better English.

You can also follow the hubbers whose topics you are interested. If they like your hubs they will follow you back.

Create good useful hubs and be an asset to the Hubpages community - followers will come naturally, not because you WANT them but because they want you.

    Welcome to hubpages:)

I really do not think no. of hubs has anything to do with no. of followers. If others find your hubs interesting and if you spend some of your precious time reading hubs written by others and leave a comment, there are chances they would visit your profile and follow you.
    Good luck and Happy hubbing!

i m just 10 days old here on hub pages.....published only three hubs till now...maybe no posts on forums (no idea ant forums)...and have only three followers

but still 672 people have read my hubs till now!!!!

whats your explanation for this thing???

shazwellynposted 14 years agoin reply to this

What does number of hubs got to do with it?  It is about quality content that matters.  If people read good content, they will follow you because you have struck a cord with them.  It is not a number crunching thing!

Yes reading other people's hubs is a good thing, providing you are reading and following for the right reasons.  This is based on genuinity.

Maybe he was suggesting that with 34 hubs, that ought to be enough for people to decide if they are interested enough to want to be notified of more?

And it is - but of course they have to notice him first and it is always possible that they are just not interested - language skills, as Cags noted.

I wouldn't write anymore hubs for now. I would work on the hubs that you have, and spend time reading other peoples hubs and commenting on them. It will help your English, as well. You will meet more hubber's and have a better following. If people like the informative comment you left for someone, they will be drawn to check out your work. What happens with me is that I'll be leaving a comment for someone about their hub and see another hubber's comment they left that interests me enough to go look at their work next. That's how I find certain people. So, people might find you the same way if you leave comments on hubs you like. Hope that makes sense and good luck! smile

I've tried to correct my grammar error in my hubs. I agree with you, maybe I have to increase my traffic to my recent hubs before I continue to write more hubs, and now I like to read several hubs from others and make a comments related to the topic so that my English will be better. Thanks for your suggestions.
