I think the most polite person is epigramman and Alternate Poet and quark are on the harder side.
Let's support each other, let's know each other. Reciprocal criticism can always make us better than what we are. So why not speaking up the truth. Say what you think.
I don't agree - funnily enough
It depends on the topic, I think I am extrmely supportive of new hubbers, anyone who writes poetry, any intelligent discussion - I am hard on religious fanatics who continually post babble in the forums.
and I like cats.
and - now it comes to mind - I am extremely supportive of second language hubbers and those who have something to say but find it hard to express themselves.
opps, I thought you are totally different. Whatever, thanks for your support. I am a new English learner and also try to write something like poems
[don't know if those can be called poems]
those poems - I'll pop over and check them out later, then you will see if I am a good or bad guy
Anyone that likes cats is definitely a big softy at heart AP *nods*
Thankyou skyfire, lovely of you to say. And sufi is a real polite guy
i think there's a lot of kind people on hubpages, but the nicest people i met are beth100, pinky lee, crazdwriter (no longer here), and lecie.
as for most rigid, I guess i would have to say cagsil. no offense to him, but I can never figure out where i stand with that guy. one moment, we're acquaintances, the next we're at each other's throats for something, as he sometimes makes insinuations about me that can be construed as condescending about my intelligence, that i find highly offensive. I know if he reads this, he'll say it's me reading into things, but I never liked anyone who goes around saying they're better than me over anything. Trust me, after being bullied by my father and kids at school growing up, i'll be damned if anyone insinuates or insults me by questioning my intellect. Plus, it seems like every little thing i say to man pisses him off. I guess he never liked me. lol. oh well. i don't worry about it. he doesn't pay my bills, so who cares what he thinks of me. lol.
Don't fret about him, he is like that with everyone who does not agree with his total worldview, which is a shame really because he is not a millionmiles off in my view, also in my view, he is a little confused about what is sound thinking and what just comes into his mind.
I don't, as I have noticed that. However, I know he's a nice guy deep down, so I don't let it bother me. He just irritates me that's all. anyway, thanks alternate poet, as you truly are a class act my friend.
Cags is half a world away from mean. Cags is the kind of guy that means well, not ill. You're probably right, you rub each other the wrong way. It happens. And maybe just maybe, after all you've been through, you're ever so slightly sensitive to even a hint of an insult. Cags is no fighter, he's more (IMO) like a good shepherd
not really. i actually have very thick skin about a lot of things. its just the intelligence insinuations is where i have a soft spot at, as that's a definite ticket to pissing me off. lol. however, i know he's nice guy, as I never said he wasn't. besides, if he was a total jerk, would he have so many friends? I don't think so. However, for the sake of the forum, he was the only person that popped into my head.
lol wait until you see my Christmas one. I'm nekkid *nods* and strategically covered in tinsel
Oh ... I'm already nekkid
If you're speaking of contrasts, I've been visiting the religious forums and two christians that are like chalk & cheese are BDazzled and Aquasilver.
I find BDazzled relates very well to people of differing beliefs, and has empathy. I find Aqua's approach judgemental and harsh. Guess personalities are at play as well as outlook on life?
NO NO NO I love polite - especially the dripping with irony polite
I think I come across as cold, blunt and business-like. Because I am here mainly to make money and learn how to make money, not really to make friends.
However I do try to help and I think I'm always polite. Froggy is very nice, heck a lot are, just as a lot are here to waste time and debate every little thing.
Polite? There are bunches. I would just add k@ri, Ixxy and AEvans to the names already mentioned, because they are really very polite imo.
I agree with part of what Bill Manning said. There seems to be alot of Hubbers here just to pass the time of day in petty trash talk. I have found in my short time here on Hub Pages that the vast majority of Hubbers are polite and most helpful.

Hypothetical question. As the old saying goes if a tree falls in the woods yet nobody is around then does it truly make a sound if nobody is around to hear it? Similar question here. If people always accuse you of being dumb, and always dismiss whatever facts you...
