I'm happy to report that I reached this milestone! It was not a click, but rather a few extra cents made from impressions that pushed me over the barrier. So maybe I won't complain about pennies made from impressions in the future.
This is a nice feeling!
Congratulations Gracenotes and best of luck and continued success!
Congrats to you. All the best to get your second payout very quickly. In the forum i heard that first few month is very tough time.
So how about you for the first 6 months ( earnings)
TopUniverse,
I did not sign up for Adsense until I'd been a member here for 6 weeks.
However, I only made around $16.50 up through April 2010. This just shows you what the potential can be after the first 6 months. Some hubbers will do much better than this.
I know you haven't been here for very long, and thus, I hope this report is encouraging for you in the long view.
Congratulations Grace! Your second payout will come in a lot faster. You'll see.
Pennies add up. Dollars add up faster, but pennies still get there
That is awesome! Great Job! Soon they will come every month...or so I have been told
I'll bet that made you smile. First the pennies then the dollars and who knows what the future holds.
Congratulations on reaching that milestone.
Congratulations, gracenotes! The first payout feels like you just climbed to the top of Mt. Everest or something like that, doesn't it? Hehe.
Congrats, Gracenotes! I, too, just made my first payout - we'll have to celebrate together - I'll even bring the champagne! It's a great feeling, isn't it?
Yeah, I'm aware, Wilderness that you made the payout in about 6 months. That's half the time that I took getting there. What a nice record!
Well, it helps just a little to be laid off from work. That not only provides time, but a not so gentle push to get it done!
You are doing great, Gracenotes and Wilderness.
I made my first payout at about 18 months (Knowing and caring nothing about keywords and backlinks, etc.).
I just made my third payout-- also without doing those aforementioned things much.
I have paid attention to the keyword searches on my extant hubs and have done some changes to titles and tags, improved some with photo capsules, and done other minor tweaks, as well as keeping a few comments, answers and forum posts going.
I didn't get into this expecting earnings-- but it's kind of the sorcerer's apprentice kind of thing. Once it gets rolling, it keeps on moving up.
October was by far my best earning month with Google and also by Amazon. I have not been doing any real targeting of markets SEO or nothing.... I do have time in my favor, as I am at about 2.5 years. I would NOT be surprised to reach another payout level by the end of this month.
(I probably should go finish a few half-finished hubs. )
SO hang in there.. Maturity and old age wins.
Well, yes, Rochelle! By all means, finish the hubs - it's hard to earn anything if it's only half done and not published. Get cracking, girl!
Hey, now! No pushing here... I'm a ponderer, and perfectly satisfied to be the tortise in the race. "SLow and steady..."
In USA you have to reach $100-- and wait 'till the following month. In UK, Aussie land and other places it is different-- check your Adsense page.
Good for you guys! The first payout gives one a boost and the reality of knowing it can be done! A nice incentive to keep writing!

I've been watching my numbers the past few days and tonight I finally made more than one million page views! I've been here just over 5 years and almost lost the whole site in the summer of 2014. It's been a long crawl back, but with the help and advice of other hubbers, the...

I'm so excited! My Adsense has finally reached $100 after two years! Yey! I better write more hubs if I want my next payout in less than two years, huh? Hehe!

I just checked my Google AdSense and I'm $0.26 over the threshold! This is the fastest I've made payout so far and I'm so glad since Amazon has been a real bummer since the beginning of the year. I started 8 months ago and my first and second payouts were at three months each, this one...
