Hello hubbers! I am very excited because today my hub, MY EXOTIC SOUP RECIPIES, has been selected among 6 candidates for this week's HubNuggets on HubPages!
So please vote for my hub. Because your votes mean a lot to me!
VOTED!!! Best of luck to you Jason! How exciting!!!
hey NICHOLS, well done. All the best. Put a link in your opening thread.
Congratulations Jason, this is not fair play however
I will take a peek, but will vote for the one I consider the best!
Do you think all the nominees should create threads saying vote for me?
Jason, I have deleted this original reply. I don't want to attach any sourness to what should be a fun filled competition for all the nominees and a great advert for writing for Hubpages.
Let's just wish everyone good luck - including yourself of course.
no problem with it, HP encourages it also. I have seen Maddie Rudd a staff encouraging promotion for hub nuggeters in other day.It would be even better if this thread was made in extreme hub make over with a link.
But if it was my thread I would say, "please, vote for me if you like my hub the most" rather than just asking for vote.
OK thanks. I read as much as I could and it seemed to say external promotion - Facebook, etc. was good, even desirable. Couldn't find any reference to setting up threads about your nomination though.
In that case then... er.... Vote for me!
No, seriously... don't. It's about my worst effort (why did they choose THAT one?) and the others look pretty good to me.
Vote for them!!!
I was just editing my post, you see. I totally agree with you.
You are very much right saleheensblog about "It would be even better if this thread was made in extreme hub make over with a link. But if it was my thread I would say, "please, vote for me if you like my hub the most" rather than just asking for vote".
Saleheen i wanted to make that change but i couldn't. Anyway best of luck to all nominies!
salehennsblog: I value your opinion. I started a thread in the Extreme Hub Makeover forum with the following text:
"I have a hub nominated for this week's Hubnugget. Please vote. Here is my hub. Many thanks in advance for those who choose to vote for mine."
I have also asked a question if I would get into trouble for doing this. A couple of people think I'm being over promotional.
What do you think?

What is the most views you have had on one of your hubs in 1 day?I got 200 views on one of my hubs in 1 day...I was very excited. I know this is nothing compared to all the great writers on hubpages but I'll have to admit, it did feel good!
