For some reason, I have gotten a lot of clicks today, but most were not credited. Could these be public service ads?
Yesterday, I nearly had a record day of income. Today, I had more clicks, very high CTR, but no income is being credited for most clicks
10 clicks = 19 cents.
It seems I may be getting public service announcement ads today, but why?
A hubber told me this may have been possible...
I answered on the other thread, but they could be disallowed clicks as well as PSA.
Adsense will disallow clicks that they feel are bogus for several reasons. Perhaps someone was impatient in how long a page took to load and clicked several times on the same ad. Perhaps they hit the back button before it was fully loaded. Things like that.
When that happens, adsense shows the click, but for $0.
I think the worst I've seen was five clicks on the same hub within a short period, all disallowed. As I recall, the only clicks for the day, too!
I've also seen more than a few clicks for a penny or two as well.
