Pennies with no clicks query

    I get a penny every once in a while, but with no associated clicks in my Adsense account.  I can't find any info on these anywhere.  What are they please?

    its earnings from a CPM ad


    or an impression based ad

    That's pretty much it, It's more effective to work on EPC ads CPM from Google is a bonus.

        It is, but earnings from a well placed ad will far outshine CPM ads.

              For HP, no, there isn't much you can do.

              With your own site, you can mark ads as available for placement targeting and give a little blurb that describes them - like "This ad unit appears above fold on all my pages that deal with computer hardware".

              I have no idea if it helps, but it makes me feel like I did something, anyway.

    Couldn't it also be a click from an URL tracker from putting your referral on someone else's hub? I always thought that was where those were from.
