I am really having a hard time focusing today. Does anyone else have that problem?
In fact, I have given up. I am intending to do as close to nothing as possible until January 2d.
I'll answer the phone and respond to emails, but other than that I am coasting in neutral.
Pretty day here in MA. Light snow.. I think I'll make some hot chocolate
I'm not writing, but I am working - washing clothes, washing floors, wrapping gifts.....need I say more?
It's hard to enjoy the holidays when you are stuck at work. Think happy thoughts.
It's actually kind of weird for me, because I am not working at all right now. However, I worked every Christmas eve for 15 years, noon until 8 p.m. And, then had to be back at work at 4 a.m. the morning after Christmas for the big day after Christmas sales.
This Christmas holiday is actually the first I have not worked in 20 years, because I worked through the 2009 Christmas rush, and lost my job just a month later. (Typical of the company I worked for) So, I am very glad that I won't have to do it this year.
But, there isn't really that much that I plan to do anyways, other than eat a lot, and watch television. I might go out for New Years Eve. I haven't done that in a while.

I have a follower, who came out of nowhere, start berating me, I assume, over a conversation I'd had with someone else. His first comment I pretty much ignored, but then he started saying things that were just uncalled for. I flagged his profile with an explanation, but is there anything else that...

I published my first hub today. The first comment I got remarked that my hub was funny. It's not. I can see that maybe a scan of the first paragraph might lead a casual reader to think that the hub may be going in an amusing direction but how can the death of my wife and my subsequent decision to...

Does anyone have any evidence for the existence of God?I am an atheist, which to me only means that I haven't been shown requisite evidence to convince me of an omnipotent, all-knowing deity of any kind. If you would, please bring forth this evidence and deliver me from a fiery...

Does anyone really like the "Year in review" letters people put in their Christmas Cards?I like them from my cousin because her and her family live a good distance away so we don't get to see them much. My Aunt on the other hand who lives near-by and we see quite often, it seems...
