But hey, I made it to 100.
I know it's a fleeting thing, and I won't bother posting if it ever happens again, but it makes that fifteen minutes of effort writing hubs and flaming people on forums so worthwhile.
100. I'd better post this quick before it vanishes.
Mark Ewbie!
Enjoy it!!
You have done well!!
Well I still see 100, that flaming the forums must work!
Not that the fifteen minutes of effort isn't a good bedrock but the forum flaming is likely what pushes you to the top
lol - yes - just the right amount of personal abuse, particularly in the religious section or on people's hubs seems to be the secret.
I do wonder why there are not more 100's, considering the content of just about every religious thread going on the forums on any day of your choosing. Honestly, you need to work on the personal abuse one, you are far to funny to come across as abusive to me. Now there are other hubbers I could mention
you are nearly at 100 what can we do to bump you up......
LOL Yes it becomes a goal then we get there and we know it is fleeting. Congrats.
Thanks Bobbi.
Oooh look at me, mixing with "100" people.
I'm gonna jump in with the big dogs, I made it to 99 before. Is that close enough?
Congrats tho
correction:
39+ for hubscore
69+ for authorscore
dumb question: what is the author score? Is it the score on the individual hub?
It says hubscore when I put the mouse over it though
You are absolutely correct. So it does. I hadn't noticed that before. I still think it's authorscore, because hubscore is what's on your hubs surely?
Shall we wait for an expert?
Yes we need an expert to solve this. Anyone?
Saleheensblog? you did bring it up
I think it's hp's mistake so I reported it.
I reported it in another forum just a few mins ago
Haven't made it to 100 yet, but working on it. Congrats!
Well done Mark. You've arrived. I hope you're enjoying the journey
Thanks frogdropping.
I have loved almost every minute of it so far. Learning the software, creating that first hub, response from fellow hubbers, hits from the outside world, a few pennies, the dreaded keyword stuff.
There are two main elements though that really hit the spot for me. One is writing, being a writer of sorts in a very small way - and the other is the general niceness, goodness, helpfulness of other Hubbers. I know that sounds a bit trite but I've been on other forums and it is nothing like this.
congrats have you posted in dollar hubber thread with screen shot?
Thanks saleheen. No, I haven't done that. I don't know where the dollar thread is and I don't know how to take a screen shot. Apart from that I'm really clued up on this computer thing.
Oh, that is so kind of you. Thanks! I haven't actually made any dollars yet though...
Thanks! I need this thread to disappear now, before it drops again.
Enjoy it while its there. Wonderfully helpful and kind Salenheen has taken a snapshot and put it in the dollar hubber thread for posterity!
I don't ever want to get to a100 honest i don't but if it makes you happy well done.....
: D
P.s how do ya do it, please tell me.
Although it may seem a shallow and pointless vanity exercise it does indeed make me very happy.
How did I do it? By spending every waking minute on here for two months...
Not quite true. But not far off.
1. Create a variety of hubs, ie. under different topics, subjects.
2. Answer questions,
3. Ask a few questions.
4. Post on forums. Obviously.
5. Make the odd comment.
6. Some hub hopping.
Can't think of anything else.
You are a star. I am always delighted to see someone achieve their goals. i am so lazy but maybe i could do it if i really wanted to. I tell you it would make me happy too. I often start looking at all the hubbers who score a hundred, and read their work, and i wish i could do it.... but laziness is my weakness
Very Well Done. I would love to put a picture on for you but i forgot how to do it.
Well it wasn't really a goal as such. And to be on page 2 of the 'best hubbers' with that stupid profile picture that I scribbled in two minutes... if I were less shallow I might be a little embarassed.
Well - that was fleeting. About five hours I reckon.
It's difficult to keep all the plates spinning...
edit: Three hours it was. A new record.
Congratulations, Mark. Your hubs are a pleasure to read. You deserve the 100....
Thanks a lot Sophia, very nice. All over now though...
Good job Mark! You are one of my favorite hubbers so I'm happy to see you reach that milestone.
Excellent effort and enjoy it as much as you can - Savour the achievement!

Okay this is great! I downloaded it this morning, and it's really working wonderfully. We all know Edweirdo, a very clever and useful hubber who created the HubDefender tool for us all which detects hub-theft and assists in dealing with it. Edweirdo has also written many helpful tutorial hubs on...

I'm sure this comment will bring out all the smartass hubbers. And I'm sure you will all visit me with more smartass comments. Well, I'll just count how many of you are out in hubberland then I will go on with my day.

I along with others are tired of the never ending spam in the Q and A section. Some of us prefer the more civil (well sometimes more civil) Q and A over the forums. Please start something that slows the overwhelming amount of spam that has been there lately. Implement something that keeps newbies...

Hi, would you get more traffic to your hubs if you participate in forum discussion. I have seen traffic increase since a started to discuss things on forums and also getting followers in my hubs. What do you think. Thanks.

HI I'm new.. and I think.. that if someone (that isn't a Hub Page Member)visits my Hub page and scrolls to the bottom of my page they can see all the forum activity I have been a part of. I'd rather this info not be available for the world to see... is there a way to "turn off" the...
