You can, but it's not recommended. If the previously published content is still online somewhere, your hub will be marked as "duplicate content" and its score (and possibly yours as well) may take a ding. Also, you cannot have any outgoing links on the hub.

So I just had an email saying one of my hubs was substandard due to duplicate content but to be honest it is content that I wrote totally off my own back and only have a couple of facts in there that are relevant. So the question is what would you advise? Should I just delete the hub and be done...
