Have I got to choose tags BEFORE creating the piece, or can I choose them with more relavancy afterwards? What do the tags with red crosses mean and what is the significance of the update tags button. I like writing but am a complete dullard with technology!!
~when you are signed in and in your hubs only then you see the red cross. The cross is used to delete a tag
~you can add tags both before and after making the hubs though you need to add at least two tags before creating a hub.
~you can add or delete tags anytime.
~update tags means the updated suggestion of tags from HP for your hub. Don't bother about it. Do your keyword research before creating your hub and that is the best way to choose the best tags for your content. Besides you will get keyword suggestion from title tuner and hub>Stat>Keywords when you will get enough visits from search engines. You can add more tags from that suggestion too.

When we post an hub, we are asked to enter "tags". The system also suggests plenty of other tags after our posting the article. Suppose I add some of them appearing as relevant, I get more tags again! My question is: are these the "meta tags"? Some SEO guidelines suggest that...

Who hasn't quite got a grasp on it yet?Be honest, and mention it in this thread, and I'll look through some hubs and choose one from a few different hubbers and I and 2 other specifically selected hubbers will look, comment and make suggestions on what keywords to target and how best to tag the...
