Adsense Ads on your website, for example to emphasise how to arrange them?
I'm writing a hub about it
I wrote a hub recently on it[ads placement for hubs; currently unpublished] and I took screen shot of ads. I see no problem at least I found nothing like this in TOS. I may be wrong though.
Yeah I don't see why because its not as though they are active links to other competitors
You can make them blurry with an image editing program. After all, you want to discuss the locations of the ads and not the content. All that matters to the readers is that they know how big the ads are and where they are placed. If you don't make the ads blurry then that would be free advertising for those companies.
I don't think tehre would be a problem with this, if you want to play it safe blurring would be the perfect solution though!

I noticed that the square block of ad usually seen at the top of the hub (when you don't use a photo or any capsule aligned to the right) is now gone. I haven't touched my hubs for quite a long time and I'm wondering if...

It would be far more helpful and less cumbersome if, when a hub was selected for inclusion in one of the new HubPages network sites, instead of a list of suggested changes, specific areas needing attention were flagged...
