I just had my third article posted with my profile picture. I can't figure this out. I have done several articles with an accompany picture of my choice. I'm doing the same thing. Any suggestions???
I see three recent hubs that do NOT contain pictures.
Perhaps you meant to include them or something may have gone wrong - I have seen that happen. I always "Preview" before finishing up because sometimes pictures and Amazon links that show while in Edit mode don't make it through to the end product for a few minutes.
If you go back and find that your Photo capsule is there but no photo is in it, that's probably what happened. Add it back in and check with Preview to be sure you see it before you click "Done Editing".
I would say it's because you don't have an image. But those three do. Maybe try a larger image, as what you are uploading is small and is stretching it out, thus making it appear pixelated.
The OP previously posted this thread on the same issue. My advice will still be the same as before:

I took your advice and have not heard from anyone. I'll send again, Thanks
Good to hear. Be patient, they may take 3 business days to respond, sometimes even longer.
It's in the Help files:
Usually, we use the first image from your Hub as the thumbnail picture which is displayed next to the Hub title. However, an image has to be at least 80 pixels high and 80 pixels wide before it will be used as the thumbnail. If the first image does not meet these requirements, we revert to the second image, and so on. If you have no eligible photos in your Hub, the Hub thumbnail will automatically be set to your profile picture.

I spend endless hours maybe two months ago redesigning my first photo so they would look good on the thumbnails on the profile pages and also on facebook. The latest change has made all that work a waste.A few of the thumbnails look better, but most now look off-kilter and have the text cut off. I...

I've been flip-flopping between my robot head and pictures of myself. I just can't decide. On that note, do you believe having a real picture of yourself is more beneficial to your readership and the visitors to your pages because it gives it more of a personal touch? Or do you think it doesn't...

Why do some users use celebrity pictures as their profile picture?
by TINA V 15 years ago
I believe on the value of confidentiality of online writers. Hubpages do provide that leeway to all hubbers to decide the kind of profile pictures to post. However, no offense to anybody but I just felt disgusted to see a picture of a half—naked body in our forum. I am not sure if...

I'm in edit mode on a hub. It's being really buggy. Can't float the pictures into place, generally having a bit of a tussle. Also, any chance of having 'high chairs' added into the catergory list?Thankyou.Edit: the picture capsule is now annoying enough that I swore at the screen. When clicking 'add...
